Happy Monday loves!! I’m enjoying my three-day weekend and relishing in another day off, but wanted to share my weekend happenings today!! Picture heavy post ahead…
We traded in our normal sushi Friday’s for an actual dinner & a movie date!!
There are so many restaurants in Boston and we wanted to try something different before the movie and made our way to Sterlings.
Probably would have been better to test out Sterlings in the Summer since they have an amazing deck, but the restaurant is a bit small and the service a tad lackluster considering there were probably 20 people total there…but regardless we still enjoyed al fresco dining and some flat bread pizza!!
Let’s be real – the true highlight of the evening was finally getting to see Gone Girl! If you haven’t read the book it doesn’t matter – go see it, you will not be dissapointed!!
For the second Saturday in a row the weather during the day just made you want to curl up on the couch and take a nap, in between episodes of Gilmore Girls streaming on Netflix!!
Not wanting to spend the entire day indoors we decided to make our way to hang out with some friends and have a glass of much needed wine!
I mentioned Friday it was on our to-do list to get some traditional Fall activities in and apple and pumpkin picking was done and done well at Applecrest Farm!
First stop was taking a bite out of an apple cider donut!! So good!
They had the most perfect store with the freshest produce and expansive selection of cheeses…I’m slightly a cheese connoisseur!

I attempted a fashion post in the orchard and I have to give all the fashion bloggers so much credit!! Might not be cut out for them…
I wanted the big one but we settled on a modest one!!
After all that picking I worked up an appetite and we headed to Portsmouth, NH for more sightseeing!! The Eggs Benedict at The District was amazing, but next time we’re going to one of the dozen restaurants that has a lobster roll…so ashamed!!
One more selfie before heading to the Kittery Outlets…sadly no purchases made and the sales were pretty dismal!!

The rain made me want to nap and Netflix too. One of these weekends that will happen. Looks like you scored at the orchards. Love the smell of apple pie baking. You looked fabulous too! Bummer the outlets weren't a success.

Well this sounds like the most perfect weekend ever!! The apple picking, the pumpkin farming!! I love it. And I'm so happy your tried a fashion post!! Will we be seeing it?! I hope so!! and we saw Gone Girl on Friday, too and I loved it! My husband, not so much haha have a wonderful day off!

Apple picking is so much fun, isn't it?? I just love Portsmouth! I went to college in NH so we would go to Portsmouth on weekends. There's so much to do there and it's so quaint and charming! Sometimes lack luster service takes away from the entire experience – even when the food is awesome. Although, it would be good to go if all you want to do is hang out. Love the doughnut pic! I have one from a few years ago but yours is better.

Ahhh seriously looks like the best weekend ever! LOVE your hat and the pictures of you guys at the orchard! And so fun you were able to see Gone Girl– it's still on our list of things to do- hopefully soon 🙂 That pizza in the second picture looks SO good- we need to get better at trying out new dining options too- definitely got stuck in a little rut/routine of going to the same places again.
