Welcome back to Monday friends! All my favorite summer moments took place this past weekend!! It was one of those weekends when you have time to soak it all in – the sun, your family & good food – really hoping that the rest of the season follows suit and we can enjoy many more of these perfect times! Here’s a few of those summer moments!
Spotting a beautiful rose garden on a long walk before dinner – had no idea this park was even around!
Indulging in my favorite food! It’s funny because while it might technically be sushi…I don’t eat raw fish, so it’s all cooked!
Spending hours by the pool – soaking in that vitamin D that all us New Englader’s have a deficiency in the rest of the year! Seeing how much fun Gary and my nephew have talking about video games is pretty hilarious!
Trying out the new “It drink of the season” – I might be on the bandwagon, but sometimes it’s okay to follow the crowd when the drink tastes like a pink starburst!! P.S. if your Starbucks doesn’t know what the “pink drink” is – just tell them to make a strawberry refresher and use coconut milk instead of water! It got the seal of approval from Gary and my 5 year old niece!
Grilling out for dinner and enjoying that the sun doesn’t set until well after 8:00 PM!

Celebrating Father’s Day with my dad in person for the first time in a few years since he’s usually in Florida – he loved being able to be with his two girls!

Ah, I've heard about the pink drink and I was wondering what was in it! I'm totally trying this next time I go to Starbs!
They didn't have the pink drink in Canada so they concocted one instead for me with hibiscus berry and coconut milk! Wasn't the same!

This weekend was definitely a perfect summer weekend for you! The pool looked like such a blast, and that's awesome that you got to celebrate Father's Day with your dad yesterday! One of coworkers refuses to eat sushi because she doesn't like raw fish, and I keep on trying to tell her that she can get cooked versions, but I don't think that she believes me.

I saw so many people trying the pink drink this weekend. I never got to a Starbucks, but I heard it's so yummy! My Dad is always out of town for work for Father's Day so we never get to spend it together either…how special you got to see yours this year though.

All of that food looks so good! We have an issue with Vitamin D here in Michigan too. I try to be outside as much as possible when the weather is nice. So cool you got to be with your dad this year!
