The first weekend of June is in the books and the weekend flew by as fast as it came! Here’s what we got up to!
Celebrated National Donut day a little later on Friday, but when it’s aKane’s donutit doesn’t really matter!!
Saturday morning, Gary and I were invited to participate in the Lexus Find Your Edge Event at the Burlington Mall. Getting to test drive a luxury vehicle was definitely exciting for both of us, but I’d have to say Gary may have loved it just a bit more than me!
After a fun morning of driving it was time to lunch at one of our favorite Mexican restaurant’s –Besito!
This was our first time at the Burlington location and I have to say, it’s a bit better than the Chestnut Hill one!
Best table side guacamole around & the churros you get to take home to enjoy later are just icing on an already amazing meal!
With a pretty gloomy Sunday we were trying to think of something fun to do that didn’t require us to be outside –King’sfit the bill! I might not have won in bowling – although I had a pretty epic strike that was caught on Snapchat (blovedboston) – I did manage win our game of pool!
The perfect end to the weekend was watching Miss USA and they finally started it at a reasonable hour so that I could actually finish the entire show! Can we talk about the Backstreet Boys performing – took me back to elementary school! Side note – Julianne Hough looked amazing – loved her hair & all her outfits!

I wasn't watching Miss USA, but when my roommate shouted that the Backstreet Boys were on, you know I ran to the next room and sat and watched them. They were so enjoyable and now I will probably jam out to their music during my commute for a fun throwback this AM.

Gary looked like a kid on Christmas when he was driving that car this weekend! I bet it was a ton of fun–who wouldn't want to troll around all day in a luxury car (or even just test drive).

That must have been so fun to test drive the Lexus, which by the way looks so beautiful, I LOVE the red interior! I remember seeing the donut on Instagram, it looked SO good! My husband loves to play pool, but I lack the skills, BIG time, haha! I always jump the stick off the table, haha.
