If you follow me on Instagram, then you might have seen that since the summer started I’ve been trying to find all the frosé that Boston restaurants and lounges have to offer! Trust me, this has been no easy task because it’s not as widely popular here as it is in other cities like Chicago or New York! Since googling – “where can I find frosé in Boston” didn’t work, I decided I would do my own post and highlight some of my favorite spots that I’ve found and keep this as a running list for those visiting Boston in the Summer and Boston locals on the hunt for the drink! First things first – what is frosé? It’s basically a rosé slushy – perfect refreshment for the summer heat! It might look sweet, but it’s wine based, so it doesn’t have much sweetness to it at all.

Alibi at the Liberty Hotel || The Liberty Hotel has a few options for food and drink. There is an upstairs bar in the lobby that does not offer frosé. I’m also not sure if Clink and Scampo offer it, but Alibi which is the lounge definitely offers it. We stopped by with Amanda and her husband to round out our Sunday afternoon and it was nice to relax outside while listening to live music!
Tia’s Waterfront || Probably my favorite of the frosé varieties I’ve tried was at Tia’s, so much so that I convinced a few of my co-workers to go out here after a work event to try them. They are made to order and taste so fresh! Perfect rosé to ice to strawberry ratio if you ask me!
Eataly || My first frosé experience was at Eataly and it did not disappoint. I’d suggest getting a meat and cheese board to go along with it as well. If you like oyster’s then you should definitely sample their fresh ones!
Frenchie || The flamingo straws all but sold me on trying Frenchie’s version of the frosé out! I will say this one had more of a grapefruit flavor than the others, but was still good. The bartender gave me a taste of the apricot slushy which was mixed with sauvignon blanc and was delicious!
Still need to try…
Still need to try…
Sonsie || I haven’t tried Sonsie’s version of the drink yet, but they have a great area at the front of the restaurant that opens up onto Newbury Street -people watching at it’s best!
Barking Crab || I was most surprised to learn that the Barking Crab offers frosé – mostly because if you’ve ever seen the Barking Crab then you know it’s a touristy spot with pretty decent fried seafood. I’ll definitely be headed here before the summer is over to try their version!
If you have a hard time finding frosé in your city, I found this super easy to follow recipe that you can make at home!
Do you think you’d like frosé? Tempted to try it at home?
This is such a fun series!! I haven't seen frose anywhere around us but am going to try and make it at home this weekend. YUM!
I want some.

I definitely need to jump on the frosé train because wine time knows I love a good rosé!!!
I tried my first at a local winery and loved it! I don't think it is as popular here though, either, because I haven't really seen it anywhere else!
Frose is SO YUMMY! So refreshing for summertime! I have been on a total margarita kick this summer but when I'm up in NYC this weekend I'm going to make it my goal to get a class of frose!
Rosy Outlook
I've never had this before!!! It could be that I don't typically order rosé, just red, but now you have me wanting to try this at some point! It did look sonrrfreshing and perfect for a hot summer day! Thanks for sharing, girlie, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

I want to try it!!! Still on the hunt for a place that has it here!! I guess I don't have much longer until summer is officially over 🙁
I've never tried frose, but it looks so refreshing! So glad you were able to track down a few places to try it out! Loving the flamingo straw too!
I still have not had a true frose! I definitely need to get on that before summer is over! So jealous when I see you out every weekend at a different cute spot enjoying one! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
What a fun post and great idea! I have yet to try frose, I should probably just make it myself because I don't know if any restaurants in DC have it. I made rose popsicles on the blog last week and I'm obsessed. I'm sure the frose is just as good! My husband wanted to go to the Liberty Hotel last time we were in Boston, but we never made it. Next time we are there we will have to make a point to, and get frose!

I'm shocked that the barking crab has frose! I mean…it is such a tourist spot. HA! I have heard the frose at Sonsie's is pretty good. I could sit outside at Alibi for days, such a fun place.
That looks SO yummy!! I've actually never heard of it before!
I loved frose last summer – I might have to make some after the baby comes even though off season! I love how many places you've found it!
YUM! You already know how excited I am for this post, and the flamingo at Frenchie would have sold me too. The grapefruit notes sound delish <3

I need a flamingo straw in my drink STAT! These all look amazing. I am going to need to see if we have any here in Bham. Though if you are having a hard time in Boston….then I am assuming we would here too!
I'm not a wine person – never even tried rose….yeah, I know 😉 But that looks so cool & refreshing.
I've been craaaaaving a frozen drink this Summer and oh man how I'm drooling for some of this. I am loving your Boston series 🙂 so much fun stuff!
I highly doubt any place in northern Wisconsin is cool enough to have frose – lol! Definitely going to try the at-home version!
Rose is my absolute favvvvorite drink!! I've been wanting to try Frose all summer! I've seen a bunch of recipes on pinterest that I need to try 🙂

I have never heard of Frose but it sounds so good! I don't love white wine and red wine is too bitter for me. I love Red Muscato but its full of sugar. I make my own concoction of a malbec/merlot mix and sprite zero. This week in Mexico I quite a bit of Rose wine so I think I would really like this. I def need to check out those places! Maybe you need create a little blogger meet up and introduce some of us to those places!
Yum! This is amazing, well done, B!
I have yet to try frose, but it looks so refreshing! And so pretty, of course, since it's pink. <3
I still need to try a frose!

I still haven't tried frose, but I really want to! Although, it'll probably have to wait until next summer before I do. That's such a great idea to get a listing together of where to find it in Boston!
This is such a fun mission for the summer! I'm so bummed we didn't have time to stop in Boston on our trip-might have to come next summer for some Tia's frose. 🙂
I haven't found any frose near me yet, but I'm dying to try some! I may have to just break down and make it. It's such a pretty drink!
Sarah at MeetTheShaneyfelts
I just had it for the first time recently and it was so good! There have been a lot of places around here that have it which makes me happy! I am saving this for when I finally visit there!
A Frose is totally new to me but all of the ones you've tried look delicious! So perfect for a summer cocktail cause honestly I don't like drinking wine during the day but a slushie is perfect. So fun to see Barking Crab on your list (one of the many restaurant I really enjoyed in Boston). I even have a post lined up from our experience there minus a Frose! xo Emily @ Martinis & Bikinis
How delicious! Pinned that recipe!
I still need to try this phenomenon! Thanks for sharing were to go. Next time I am in Boston, I'll check out these spot. XO, Ellese

the colonnade pool also has frose – definitely not my favorite in town, but another place to try.
The Barking Crab has it? So not the type of place I'd think would have it. LOL
Loved reading this post. I also live in Boston! Can't wait to visit these places. 🙂
