My favorite dressy piece for spring has to be the pleated skirt. There is just something about the flow you get while walking that makes you feel like a lady – whether you go for the midi length or a shorter option, the pleat is in!

Not sure if anyone had to wear uniforms while in school, but there was a week or so in middle school when we had to wear these types of skirts and I absolutely loathed it! Looking back it was definitely the material not the actual style!! Funny how fashion comes full circle.

I really need to add a good pleated skirt to my closet – it would definitely spice up my work wardrobe!

Love pleated skirts! I am going to order this cream colored Lauren Conrad(kohls collection) skirt this week! kohls.com/product/prd-1693696/lc-lauren-conrad-chiffon-pleated-maxi-skirt-womens.jsp?prodId=1693696 I am obsessed with it. I wanted an all cream maxi dress but I figured with the kids the skirt would be a safer bet lol! XO
Me too! I love all of the clothes in that line and I think that skirt is so cute
I just wore my pleated maxi skirt last week! Its my fav!

Ok, I'm obsessed with pleated skirts right now! I've been trying to track down the perfect pleated midi skirt but I haven't found one yet! 🙁 I'm seriously in love with that reddish one with the cream jacket! LOVE!

I absolutely love the look of these but I haven't been able to find one that doesn't make my hips look 10 times wider than they actually are! However that long blush one looks amazing and may not do that! How amazing would like a hot pink Summer color look in this trend? 🙂
i wonder how i would look in a pleated skirt? regardless, they are gorgeous!
i love the longer looks!!
i LOVE them! i dont like the shorter ones, because i feel like they make my hips look bigger. i love the midi ones like in your second, third and sixth inspiration photos, but havent found one that i love / in my price range. there are tons of cheap ones on amazon / ebay but i want to try it on first, so.. boo.
I'm a fan — I think I need one for summer 🙂
Obsessed with a good pleated skirt! They are just so chic! I found the perfect one this weekend at a thrift store but it was too big!! :(( So sad!

I like the chiffon ones, especially those pictures of the coral/red ones!! Very pretty. We got a navy wide pleated skirt at work that has this like lacy texture, it's so cute, but if I buy any more clothes there my husband may get mad haha. I went to catholic school through college so I've done the uniform thing!! To this day I refuse to wear plaid because of it, haha.
I love the larger pleats – Like the Parker Zoe above
I am loving all of your skirt choices here! I remember when pleated skirts were completely unacceptable, but now they are so chic and crave-worthy!

Loving the pleats! I don't have that many skirts and need to add some more to my collection 🙂
i totally think my grandmother wore these.. hahah. i like the mini ones!
I love this trend! I'm definitely more of a midi/maxi pleated skirt gal because I can't pull off flowy skirts that are above the knee – they make my legs look like sausages! I love the combination of chiffon pleated skirts with a button down chambray shirt.
LOVE pleats! I like the midi-length especially!
I love pleated skirts and that Blush colored one is perfect. I've seen some in mint too. I really need some mint in my life.
I definitely love this trend, I saw that last pic on Pinterest the other day, love it!!
I LOVE a good pleated skirt. SO girlie and fun.
Oh how I love a pleated shirt – and yes I totally wore uniforms everyday for middle and high school…. I think you hit the nail on the head with the fabric…we referred to our skirts as kilts – they were a not so fantastic cranberry and navy wool….hahah yay for catholic school!!
All these pics & picks SCREAM your name. And, gf, if I ever won a giveaway to meet Lauren Conrad I would totally give it up to you! I promise. Ya'll are one and the same. And if you ever win one to meet Carrie Underwood will you please return the favor? 🙂
You have me yearning for a new pleated skirt now! So ladylike while on trend! I cannot wait to pick one up (and see how you style yours.) xo
Damn LC and her perfection in everything ha. I love the short version but feel like I look 12 in anything midi for some reason.
I'm wearing a pleated maxi today, actually. 🙂 Love this trend!

I have a hard time with these because at times they can make my hips appear larger so I guess it depends on the cut.
Lauren looks perfect as always! You've convinced me I need a pleated skirt now! They're so cute!
I am loving the skirts that I can wear a simple Tshirt with!!
I love this look but somehow it totally swallows me! I love the midi length but I am way to short for that. Such a cute look with a plain Tshirt and a statement necklace.
Soo cute!! Love the pleated look–I am a huge fan of wearing it for summer at the office 🙂 Thanks for sharing some great new choices!

These are all so amazing!!! Awesome finds, Biana!!
Love ALL of these! Of course LC is right on trend! I need a pleated skirt (or 5 of them) in my closet asap!
I just love LC! (I like the color of the first one too!)
CUTE picks! that midi blue skirt is one of my favorite pinterest pics! xo jillian – cornflake dreams
Girl I do LOVE a pleated skirt! Good pick! xo
I'm so sad I don't have a pleated skirt, because I'm obsessed! Adding this to my want list. Just one more thing I "need!" haha.
I am loving the pleated skirts! I like the mid length and I've also seen some full length maxis that are to die for! Your right, it's crazy how style makes a circle over and over and over! That's my excuse as to why I never want to get rid of clothes! Haha!
I always feel like the pleated skirt looks so cute, but then I put it on and it just never fits me right 🙁
I feel like the midi skirts are the kind of thing that I LOVE and want to wear but know that I shouldn't because my legs are so short to begin with and I'm not quite as skinny as the gorgeous models in those photos! I do love some of the patterned ones– the first one from Banana is my favorite I think!
I love the longer ones! I can totally work those.
