This post is going to be all things holidays…so hopefully there will be something for everyone! While Christmas may only be 9 days away, tonight is actually the first night of Chanukah. Some of you may not know this, but Gary and I celebrate both holidays! It’s not that we’re greedy, but we want to honor both our religions and it’s been really easy for us to do so! So along with our tree and stockings, we have a few little odes to my jewish heritage spread throughout as well.
Decor
Decor
Our stockings don’t match because when we were dating one of our gifts to one another was to get a stocking, so we just decided to keep these!!
Since we spend the most time in our living room, the only decor and accent pieces are in that room and it adds just the right amount of cheer! My mom gifted us the snow globe with the dreidel last year and it also plays a beautiful song – I’ve been able to enjoy so much more this season.
Gift Wrapping
There are a lot of presents under our tree- the ones that are wrapped were done by Gary because I am hands down the worst gift wrapper ever!! I have high hopes for myself every year, but next year will be my year and I’m planning on having a solidified theme for all the presents…if you still haven’t wrapped your gifts yet here’s some of my inspiration for next year!
I found this tutorialfrom One Kings Lane to help!
Eating
We are having Christmas Eve over at my sister’s in laws house and I’ve been asked to bring an appetizer. With most holiday food being interchangeable – my main goal is to have it easy to make and perhaps even make ahead before we leave.
I love Caprese salad so this is the perfect appetizer with a little pasta on top!! If you like your cheese a little hot – these baked brie bites are on point!! Not a fan of cheese – I found these glazed kielbasa pineapple bites and finally for a bit of Christmas flair how about cranberry and pomegranate bruschetta?!
Are all your gifts neatly wrapped? Do you have a special dish for the holidays?
I’m linking up with these sweet ladies for their last holiday link-up!

Leaving you with a Shake It Off – Chanukah edition!

Your living room is gorgeous- and I love you guys incorporate both celebrations, so cool. π

All of your holiday decor is so pretty! I really slacked off this year. And don't worry, I'm a horrible gift wrapper too. I chipped my nails trying to wrap all the presents yesterday, who does that?! And all of those appetizers look amazing!

Girl I am the worst wrapper but I think Mark is more than I am……so I resort to pretty bags and paper π Love all your pretty decorations with all the moving I didn't get much up this year so sad!
This looks all so lovely!

i celebrate them both, too!!
That's cool that you incorporate both so successfully and I love that you kept the stockings you gave eachother!! Sweet.
All that food looks DELISH! And your decor is gorgeous π
Love that you celebrate Christmakah! (Seth Cohen anyone?)
I'm definitely a big fan of the make-ahead party food, and all of those appetizers look yummy (especially that festive cranberry and pomegranate bruschetta – perfect!).
SO much holiday FUN!!! I love all your festive decor touches! I wish I was a better present wrapper. I mean, I do well, but I'm not creative like the presents you show. Something to work on for next year, maybe.
CHRISTMAS FOOOD! YUMMMY!
mmmm i want all of that food π have fun celebrating chanukah! xo jillian – cornflake dreams
gift wrapping will commence this weekend because i just got boxes π i also love wrapping gifts in craft paper and adding bows/ribbons to finish the look.
Your decor is beautiful and I love that it's a melding of two religions/celebrations! My best friend's family does the same thing and I think it's awesome (and her nieces and nephews DO get a bunch of presents to boot haha). Despite the different religions and decorations, your stuff goes together much better than some other decor I've seen that's all for just Christmas, so give yourself a pat on the back haha
I love that little silver wire tree–I saw one at a wedding recently as the decor and wanted to take it haha
I think it is good that you celebrate both and honor both religions. I am trying to transition to a theme for wrapping to reduce my clutter with wrapping paper. The pineapple and kielbasa sounds really good, and baked brie is always a hit.
Oh my gosh, how cute! I love that Gary is the gift wrapper! Eric just kind of throws the paper on… he doesn't even try to fold it into nice lines, ha ha!
Love that you celebrate both religions!! Gosh, this is such a beautiful time of year!
Celebrating both holidayβs gets the best of both worlds! I have to bring an appetizer to our Christmas party too… All 4 of those ideas look amazing!
Those caprese skewers look amazing! Love your driedel snow globe and the wrapping inspirations are very pretty! I haven't wrapped any if thd kids presents…hopefully tonight! XO
Love all your decor!! And that cheese Christmas tree is so fun- that might have to happen over here. Merry almost Christmas!
I love that you and Gary incorporate both of your religious traditions into your decor and celebrations, and how CUTE that you guys bought each other stockings while you were dating! That is just too cute. Girl, all my presents are wrapped and under the tree, but it took me about 6 hours last weekend … they turned out nice, but it just takes me a while lol.
Happy Chanukah. I think that is wonderful that you celebrate both. Great decorations. That video is so fab!! They are so good.
i love all the decorations! i still cant believe next week is christmas. goodness gracious. and all those snacks look delish! time for second breakfast yet? π

Great holiday decor! That's so nice that you celebrate both Christmas and Chanukah. Gary did great with the wrapping! We are so behind with ours but it will get done, eventually π Have a great day xo Winks and Eyerolls
I absolutely love the idea of adding cute little bells and a few little tree trimmings to your gift wrap. I did "brown paper packages tied up with string" a few years ago and while it was pretty cute, it wasn't that cute. I also love that you two bought stockings for each other and they both had snowflakes on them, that is seriously sweet.
prosecco in the park
Love all the wrapping ideas! Mine never coordinates, but I'm hoping to get there next year! It always looks so nice when they do.
Your stocking are so cute!!! I love them!! I do matchy match gift wrapping :-X
Those wrapping ideas are gorgeous! I could probably win a prize for the worst wrapper in the world. My children probably think the elves had too much eggnog before wrapping their gifts!
I just love the Holidays!! I am not the best gift wrapper either! But I'm trying and I'm getting better I think! I'll definitely have to check out that tutorial! I love all your Decour!

I love your tree and that snow globe is gorgeous! So sweet that y'all decorate for both holidays! And totally making that caprese salad skewer for a party this weekend, thanks for sharing!
oh man, none of my gifts are wrapped and I haven't even fully finished shopping yet.
The cheese and tomato Christmas tree is so adorable!! I've made caprese skewers before, so good.
Kristina does the Internets
I loooooooove that you celebrate both and interweave both into your home decor! So pretty! Happy Chanukah!
That's it, I officially need accessories on my packages! Those are just too cute!
So wonderful that you two celebrate both holidays (plus more presents.) It's nice to just be able to share something new with the one you love.

Everything looks great! I need to start thinking about what apps I'm going to have out on Christmas Day. You jumpstarted me.
Happy Hanukkah!
The snow globe is so pretty! It's neat that you celebrate both holidays!
Love that you celebrate both holidays! My bff was raised Christian and her husband is Jewish – and they have integrated both into their holiday season too π I'm a terrible wrapper too! I see all these perfect pictures on Pinterest and IG and want so badly to have the stylish presents under the matching tree – but alas, there is no way it will ever happen in my house π haha!
Wow, so many presents under the tree! Looks like it is a great holiday day season – Hanukkah and Christmas combined. xo, Amanda
Love, love, love! I always love gift wrapping, so this year, I picked a theme! I went with gold and craft paper — but I'm loving that black and white paper inspiration! And all the food — so good!
xo Southern Style
Neatly wrapped? I laugh… they are covered up – how about that? π
I love your silver tree… something about silver & gold during the holidays is so beautiful to me
I love that you've kept those stockings!
Your decorations look great! That is SO cute about the stockings!! That's really nice that you incorporate both religions too. Happy Chanukah by the way. π I wish that my wrapping skills were as good as those pictures!! Or as Gary's! I'm awful at wrapping gifts and hate to say it but so is Chris lol. I hope that you are having a good day so far too!! π
You guys are too cute with your stockings from when you were dating! I love your decor and I think it's awesome that you celebrate both holidays!
I love that you guys celebrate both holidays and incorporate them in to your decor! I love adding a little ornament or something on to some of the packages to give them the wow factor and that little something extra! It is just finding the time and patience to do it!
The striped gift wrap is adorable, I need some in my life.
Such gorgeous presents (I am horrible at wrapping too lol!) I also loveee your mismatching stockings because though they are not identical, they compliment each other well (like you and Gary!)
Wishing you the best through the rest of the holiday season Biana! xo
Love your Christmas tree and the cute snow globe! I'm also a big fan of decorative christmas wrappings.
Oh my, those glazed kielbasa pineapple bites look so simple and delicious. Love your tree and stockings π
Sooo many presents under that tree!! Looks like you guys are all decorated up for the Holidays!
Beautiful Christmas post! Love the snack tree! Great idea!

I love that you guys celebrate both holidays! And Elf definitely has become a must-watch movie during the season along with the others! My wrapping skills are…questionable at times but I try hahaha.
LOVE those gift-wrapping ideas. I so need the inspiration, the gifts under my tree are not the prettiest! XOXO
Gary is a mean wrapper, that looks profesh! We celebrate both too – happy Hanukkah! I love that you gave each other stockings, such a sweet memento! I always make caprese skewers as my holiday app because they look like little baby Santa's!
I am the worlds worst wrapper, too! I usually end up doing lots of gift bags π All of the little appetizers are making me hungry… those pineapple kielbasa bites look amazing!
i am absolutely hands down the worst gift wrapper as well. in australia we don't put things in boxes – so if you get a tshirt, we wrap the tshirt, not put the tshirt in a box and wrap the box. make sense? i hate getting boxes but they do make wrapping so much easier lol. and i kinda dig your mismatched stockings! i want mismatched ones because KC and I both start with K obviously and I want them to differentiate somehow. I mean they will be different because of the names, but I want them to be more different.
I think it's really cool that you guys celebrate both! Hope you have a great holiday season!

Love, love all the little details to incorporate both holidays into your home. I am obsessed with all of that wrapping paper (but it's so pretty I'd want to hoard it hah).
I love all of your holiday decorations!!
I love the colors of the wrapping! I did color themes a few years in a row and last year got lazy so there were gift bags. haha.
Baked brie is something I was thinking of this year but I really like the bite size idea much better.
Happy Chanukah my dear! My boss and a few co-workers are Jewish so we're celebrating with them tonight. Love that you guys celebrate both.
Beautiful decor! I think that is great you celebrate both holidays, definitely the way to go so that you honor both families! Loving all that wrapping inspiration…I wish I had the patience to do that, but I can barely wrap a box, so yea.

So many great things here!! I pinned that same "cheese" appetizer shaped like a Xmas tree! So festive. And I make caprese bites all the time, always a big hit!
that cheese appetizer looks exactly like what i want for dinner! what a fun post!!
I love that you celebrate both – that goes such a long way in the relationship and love jar I'm sure!
I am a horrible gift wrapper too, it's embarrassing! How fun to celebrate both holidays, I know of some other people who do that too. Double the festivities! =)
Love all your festive decor! That snow globe is so pretty! I'm the worst wrapper too. I haven't wrapped a thing yet! I'm thinking lots of gift bags!! All those apps look beyond delish! I think I'd love all of them π

That is so cool that you celebrate both holidays! I love all of your decor! That food all looks amazing, I really want to try the cranberry and pomegranate bruschetta!
I think it's wonderful that you celebrate both holidays!! I love that snow globe. You actually reminded me that I have one up in storage that I completely forgot about! I love looking at beautifully wrapped gifts, but I usually just keep it basic. Maybe next year will be my year too!
I am by far the worst gift wrapper!!! I love a dolled up gift, but my gosh it is so frustrating to get the paper on the box in an organized fashion that I usually just throw it under the tree when I'm done without the fru-fru! Happy Chanukah!!!
I think it's wonderful you celebrate both holidays! I would never think that's greedy so I hope no one has said that to you! =)

Biana! The variety of food, colors, and wrapping here is gorgeous! You have such a great eye for beautiful things! Love the wrapping the most, and those little brie bites! YUM!
Beautiful decor! Food looks absolutely delicious

Wrapping makes me ANGRY. I used to love it as a kid but now I just have no patience for it. 90% of my gifts went into bags this year! haah
I didn't know you guys celebrated both holidays, but I love that! Your decor is so pretty. And it's funny, my brother always asks me to wrap his gifts for everyone because he's "so bad at it" but I'm like.. listen, I'm not that great at it either! It definitely wouldn't be difficult for him to do as "good" a job as I do, haha. Happy Chanukah!
Love your wrapping options. Also, love that y'all celebrate both holidays So important! xo
Your decorations are so pretty! I love the wrapping and appetizer inspiration! I'm so behind this year – still shopping and a ton of wrapping to do!

I used a couple of your ideas for thanksgiving appetizers, and they were great! I will definitely be checking those out for Christmas!
I made baked brie bites for my holiday party and they were a big hit. Love that you are able to incorporate both your traditions into the decor and season!

It all looks lovely. The decor and yummo food. Just perfect!
I keep telling myself that one day I'll have perfect, pretty wrapping like those photos. Someday! Haha!
Happy Chanukah! I love all of your gorgeous decorations! I also love that you guys kept the stockings you gifted to each other. I'm impressed with all of your gift wrapping already- it looks like so many pretty presents under your tree!
