It’s been more than six months since I shared my skin care routineand while I didn’t do anything drastic to change my routine, I have added some new products that have really helped make a difference in how smooth my skin has been this winter.
I received a lot of great skin care products from my Glossy Boxes over that last few months and I’ve been testing them out like crazy! I have two go-to products that I don’t see myself switching any time soon and the others are all new and great products!!
For The Face//
For The Face//
Kueshi Toner
I have to be honest and say I hadn’t used a toner in probably 7 or 8 years before getting this in my Glossy Box two months ago!! I absolutely love the smell, almost like bubble gum and it leaves my skin feeling super clean! I use it as directed, twice a day and really have seen a great improvement in my skin’s overall appearance. Once this runs out – I’m 100% buying it again!
I use this after the shower and it’s a thicker formula which I like. I’ve used it for years now and really don’t see myself switching. I just like the way it sinks into my skin and really hydrates it.
I love cleansers and was out of the one I had been using so this came at the perfect time!! I do not remember a time my face has felt so soft and smooth after using a cleanser!! I’m so sad that it was only a travel size and I’ve been rationing it, but again I’ll 100% be purchasing the full size after I run out. I am still using my beloved St. Ives scrub, but rotate between the two every other day.
This is the newest product that I have been using. I put this on and literally slather my face with it before bed! It’s a thicker formula and even though it does say reduces the appearance of fatigue, this does not mean it gets rid of the bags under your eyes…that they will never figure that out! My skin does feel rested in the mornings, if that makes any sense and it’s too soon to tell whether my fine lines near my eyes are decreasing, but I really love the formula!
For the nails and body//
Karly mentioned this a few months ago and I went out and picked it up immediately!! I have been using this every single day and I think my favorite is the night side. I put it on before bed and wake up in the morning with my lips still feeling moisturized and not cracked!! It’s 100% reduced my lips from cracking and that in and of it self is a win for me!
I think it was last year when the world was going crazy over Argan Oil and I’ve sort of stuck with it!! I use Josie Maran’s line of Argan Oil on my cuticles and my heels before bed. For my nails it really helps nail polish stay on longer and my cuticles don’t feel as dry. I don’t put it on my heels every night, in fact I usually forget, but when I do and wake up in the morning I always feel a difference!
I honestly don’t think I could make it through winter without Aveeno! It’s hands down the best for combating dry skin during the winter and honestly year round!! I get the big bottle and it normally lasts me a good while (probably 4 months) and I also have the travel size for my hands at work! It’s my life saver!!!
I am of course still using my Clairsonic Mia, but in the winter try to only use it once a week since I don’t want to dry my face out!
Do you change up your routine for the change in seasons? What are your current go-to products?
xo,
I am definitely going to have to start using some of your product suggestions! My skin always gets so dry in the winter even though it's not that cold down here. I guess when you're used to practically swimming in the air in the summer the semi-dry winter months really take their toll! I love that Aveeno lotion and I'm right there with you still using the argon oil!

Argan Oil has been such a lifesaver for me since moving here. The cold and wind really takes a toll on your hair and nails! I put a few drops after I shower and it definitely helps to keep some moisture in my hair!!

That Garnier Night Cream sounds like what I need. My face has been drying out no matter how much lotion I slather on there. Your skin has such a beautiful glow to it!
As a chapstick-a-holic, I need to try that day/night chapstick. I definitely agree that a good moisturizer does wonders, especially in these painfully cold winter months! I'll be keeping my eye out for some of the products that you mentioned!
That Garnier night cream looks and sounds amazing, I'm definitely going to have to try that out. And I hear ya… I've tried everything that says it'll get rid of my bags and/or dark circles and absolutely nothing works no matter how expensive. That's what NARS Creamy Concealer is for right? š
I've basically been slathering myself in coconut oil – it's been such a brutal winter! I've also been loving that Chapstick… Sometimes you just need to stick with the classics!
Great post, girl! I've always wanted to try argan oil but haven't been able to bite the bullet – I think I need to give it a try now!

Coconut oil all over my face. I even brought the bottle down with me to the Wedding because it is the only thing that was keeping moisture on my face before the wedding it was a total life saver. Thanks for these I hadn't heard of half of them and now I'm intrigued.
I haven't tried many of these. The toner and the night cream seem worth a try. I do use the double sided chapstick at work, and love it.
I love my Mia and Aveeno is a recent find and love. I also use Simple face towelettes and like how clean they leave my face.
Such a great routine! I really need to start one haha š

I've never heard of putting argan oil on your heels before, or cuticles for that matter. It definitely makes sense when you think about it. Definitely going to have to try that!

I need that chapstick like yesterday. My lips have been so dry lately!
Glad that you are still loving the ChapStick! I absolutely love that little tube – it gives me the softest lips overnight! I am going to look into that cleanser and night cream – I've been having a lot of trouble with my skin lately, and I think I've grown immune to my current cleanser. Plus, it's just so damn dry!
I just started using a toner again recently and this one sounds awesome! My lips have been soooo dry too! Need to check out that Chapstick!

I've heard amazing things about Argan Oil.
I was just at Target and forgot tiger the night cream, I want to try it, I'm noticing lines under my eyes š I don't want to call them wrinkles…. They're laughing lines š
Perfect beauty routine!!!

I swear by the Josie Maran Argon Oil. The light version is even better! My husband doesn't use any other lotion than the Aveeno Daily Moisturizer. He insists that nothing works as good lol.
I have been looking for that Chapstick and I haven't seen it. š Definitely want to try it though! I want to try the Aveeno lotion but ugh its kind of expensive! :-/ I'd love to try that Garnier cream even though I'm past the "anti-aging" point in my life haha. Sigh. Thanks for sharing all of this!! š
I have been obsessed with the Bite lip scrub and mask! They have them together in this cute container by the Sephora register, or the danger zone, as I like to refer to it. I need to check out that toner! It's such a great step to a skin care regimen.

That Pond's cream is by far the most bang for you buck in a skin product! I have been using Pond's cream wash to "wash" my face aka put it on wipe it off, then use water, because it is so dry. I want to get that Garnier lotion to try!! Great recs as always š
I've been using Aveeno since I can remember and don't think I could ever switch lotions! I'd like to try that Argan Oil stuff you mentioned. My cuticles have been a mess this winter! Thanks for sharing girl!
hint: the JM argan oil is WAY OVERPRICED!!! you can get certified organic argan oil at the health food store for $19, same amount! i love me some argan oil; it's saved my skin and it's what i use year round.
I love learning about new products and have tagged a couple of these to try. I hate to admit but I'm terrible about my skincare routine and need to change that stat!
I'm terrible at taking care of my skin, but I do make sure to slather on some Ponds twice a day- my skin instantly feels better! -Dorrie @ Bear Den Plantation
Wonderful products! I have never used a toner but I definitely want to try out the Kueshi one! I am also tempted to try out the argan oil!

i really want to try that ponds cream! xo jillian – cornflake dreams
I do miss trying out things from my subscription boxes, but I'm loving being able to buy what I want. I love my witch hazel toner, but bubble gum has peaked my interest and I'm getting ready to run out of my two daily cleansers, so this came at the right time for a rec!
Love Argon oil!! I want to try that Garnier night cream so I may pick it up thanks to your recommendation!
i'll definitely have to check out the ponds and the garnier creams.. but seriously.. i really need help with the bags under my eyes, why haven't they figured it out yet?!
That's a good idea putting chapstick on before bed. I wake up with cracked, dry lips every morning. Totally doing that now.
I need to get on the Argan oil train! I've never used it but everyone raves about it! Great idea to use it on your cuticles and heels!!

Love love Aveeno, it has been a life saver this winter. I too go the big bottle so that it would last. haha.. I tired that Argo Oil and it made me break out so bad. My friend swears by it. They know make a light version of it, I might give that one a try.
I'm def going to have to try some of these out! Aveeno though is absolutely a go to in the winter. Great post.
Ah, skin and body care is so important, especially in the winter months! Toner is by far one of my favorite products, and it makes such a difference. It's right up there with a good moisturizer! No wonder you're so pretty – look at how well you take care of yourself š
I use a similar cream at night (but it's Oil of Olay) and I think the thick consistency is definitely the best! And that two-sided chapstick is pretty cool, I may have to pick one up for Ryan!
I need to try some Aveeno lotion – I prefer the more natural ones.
I have a love / hate relationship with chapstick. I need it, but the more you need, the more you need. Its proven those things are addictive. But my lips in winter? Need it š
I need some of that night cream. These fine lines are killing me!
i've never heard of that toner brand before, i will have to check them out! love josie maran's argan oil – i put it on my face at night in the winter before bed to help keep my skin hydrated.
I love Aveeno Moisturizing Lotion! I get so dry in the winter, and that lotion is a lifesaver! I am definitely going to pick up some of that day/night chapstick, too!
I've totally forgot about the overnight masks, thanks for reminding about that!

Great to know that you are seeing positive results! That Day/Night Chapstick and the Aveeno are both in my winter skincare arsenal, too!
I can't remember the last time I used toner, but I would like to try it again! I know it can help with making your skin look firmer and brighter! I've never used Argan Oil but heard such great things about it!
I've never had too many issues with my skin, but as of late, I feel like I can never get my pores as clean as I want! I've been using Aveno exfoliating scrub pads and I feel like that has helped. Would love to try some of your products, too!

This is the first year in a while that I haven't changed too much for the seasons. I'm in a good place!
I am loving your St. Ives suggestions for the scrubs, I use them every other day.
In the winter my skin is so dry, so I've been moisturizing like crazy! Thank you for sharing these products š

My skin has been dry like never before this winter so I need to look into some of these extra-hydrating products! I love that the lip balm has two sides– so smart for the daytime to have spf built in!
Like Zelle, I use the Avena exfoliating scrub pads and have really noticed a difference. My skin feels really soft, smooth and clean whenever I use them – which is now – close to 4 days a week or every other day. I really want to try the Vichy cleanser as well. XO

I have that day and night chapstick and love it! I also use a ponds moisturizer, it might be different than yours but I love the way it sink in my skin too!
I used a toner for a few months when I changed up my skin care but that line wasnt working for me long term and I haven't gone back to any since. I may have to check this one out!
That aveeno lotion is my all time favorite! Can't live without it!

Loving these products! xx, Hayley dailydoseofdarling.com
I have a similar Garnier cream and love it – never did I think it would make such a difference in how I feel!
Ponds is one of those brands that just does it simply and does it right. My grandmother only ever used cold cream and now at 80-something she has this beautiful, healthy-looking skin. I've never tried the Jose Maran Argan Oil but I've always heard such wonderful things, I'm going to have to try it one of these days!

I have never used any of these products but you are making me want to try some. I've been using Oil of Olay complete sunscreen everyday since I met Scott. He's used since he was a kid and his skin is beautiful…I know.. my bf has better skin than me…not fair!
I love Avenno's products!

I use pretty much all the same products as you in my skin routine but haven't tried any of these brand products. I good toner is key! I will have to check out your recommendation when I run of the one Im using now.
Thank you for sharing your skin care routine! I am curious about the Pond's cream and may give it a whirl. I'm pretty sure my favorite "Nutritioniste" lotion by Garnier has been discontinued (I can't find it anywhere anymore which makes me so sad because it worked perfectly with my skin) so I am always on the lookout for its replacement.

I always want to try anything that has the Allure seal of approval so I'm going to be looking into that cleanser! Love that Josie Maran argan oil, too – a must have for the winter!
This may sound ridiculous, but I have no idea what toner is or what it's supposed to do. Maybe I'm missing out on something important. haha I love St. Ives too and I can't see anything else making me switch.
I used to use a Clinique cream for fine lines, but it made me break out. I need to find out that's good for sensitive skin.
That Josie Moran oil has been on my radar for so long!! I need to get some asap š
26 and Not Counting
I'm intrigued by the toner so I just may have to check it out. Love Pond's for face moisturizing as well! With how up and down our temperatures have been I think it's time to up the body lotion next!
Ive been holding back on stocking up on new skin care products until Sephora has an amazing GWP deal, but Ive been totally keeping a list on products that mommy needs to keep me looking youthful. Thanks for the suggestions, always great to hear reviews on what works!
I love this post! I always enjoy seeing what other bloggers use for skin care š I'm super obsessed with InstaNatural products lately!

I'm working on a sample I got of that Garnier Night Cream and I absolutely LOVE it! Perfect timing too since I was planning on going with drugstore stuff after I started running out š
ah love the product reviews! i just got a new moisturizer that i need to review i think! xo

Ok I have yet to try Aragon oil but maybe I should. My cuticles are terribly dry so my skin cracks and peels there all the time. And that chapstick looks awesome! I love like 8 chapsticks; it's a bit much.
I dont own a night cream. I really need to find one because my nighttime routine currently sucks!
I use argan oil on my hair… I'm gonna try it on my cuticles, they're suuuper dry right now!
