Happy Monday & Happy 2016 friends!! I’m so excited to be starting this year fresh & motivated! Let’s get right into the recap of the first 2016 weekend!
We opted for a low key new year’s eve at our friends house – there were plenty of apps, laughs & games…and dancing to Justin Bieber! If you follow me on SnapChat (@blovedboston) you may have seen snippets of the dance party!!
I had originally purchased this sequin top, but after my order arrived and the medium was too big & the small was too short, so I opted for a subtle sequined one (dress version linked) and loved it! The back was my favorite part!
We were up pretty early for January 1st and headed out to Western, MA to have our final Christmas celebration with Gary’s family – before we did that, Gary stopped to show me one of his favorite park!! It was gorgeous and apparently the little ducks didn’t get the memo that it was time for them to fly South!
We had the best time eating, playing games & just enjoying family time on Friday! By the way – this seamless black tee from White House Black Marketis quite possibly the best layering top ever! I love it!
After the meal – Gary found me on the couch asleep! 🙂
The rest of the weekend included a once in a blue moon trip to Chick-Fil-A, lots of time browsing Marshall’s & TJ Maxx, my first pure barre class in over a year (so sore) & filming a video for the blog!! We also watched this movie, which was so cute!!
Obviously – no weekend is complete without a seriously glutenous brunch!! We went to Brother’s Restaurant once again and split the loaded french toast & egg’s Florentine – if you’re visiting us anytime in the near future we will more than likely be taking you here 🙂

I don't think I'll ever be going "out" on NYE again – celebrating with family and friends in a quieter setting is so much nicer! Love the cups and cocktail napkins! Looks like a fabulous rest of the weekend!
