Happy Friday friends!! I like to keep things very upbeat around here, but this has been a tough week with the passing of Gary’s good friend and mentor…to say we’re looking for a bright spot in the weekend would be an understatement. If anything it’s these moments that show you how valuable and precious life is and we were reminded of that this week. I truly like to look on the bright side of things and still want to share some favorites with you all so I’m linking up with Amanda!

For the last year or so I’ve been on a major hunt for a white pair of jeans! It’s taken me that long to find a pair that isn’t too tight and doesn’t showall the imperfections if you know what I mean! Well I stopped into Loft and foundthese relaxed skinny white jeansand you know I’ll be pairing it with my new favorite chambray top!!

I stopped into Target last weekend and picked up a weekender bag that I’ve had my eye on and for under $35 couldn’t pass up! Of course while there I spotted so many cute beach bags…as much as I love this straw one, I think this nylon onewould be a better option or even this lobster one!

On a brighter note, LOVE that beach tote!! I also totally feel you on the white jeans.. I bought my first pair last year. They are skinny jeans but they are not super tight. I'm so sorry to learn of the passing of Gary's friend; I will keep you both in my prayers, as well as the family, friends and loved ones who've also experienced this loss. What's amazing about this life, is that all that we do an accomplish that we can then use to mentor, as Gary's friend did with him, extends past our lives here on this earth and can really help make a huge difference and impact.
As for the white jeans, I know the struggle, girl, I have yet to find the perfect pair myself. I have a pair of white high waisted pants that I love, but they're not denim. It also reveals all the imperfections, but I've found the Spanx capri in nude, which I wear underneath, to be so helpful in smoothing things out because white really does highlight, EVERYTHING, haha! That tassel woven beach bag is just too cute and trendy, I think I'll have to pop into Target and check out their selections! I also really love that ombre decor, which I had to pin to my 'Home Decor' board on Pinterest because we're really thinking about moving in a couple of months and I would love to recreate this effect somehow, so thank you so much for sharing this, you ALWAYS share the best inspiration and resources! I hope you have a wonderful weekend, gorgeous girlie!
