Happy Friday friends!! This week flew by thanks to a shortened work week! I’m ready to kick back and enjoy the weekend with a few plans sprinkled in between relaxing! Linking up with Amanda to share some favorites from the week!
Favorite Recipe
Tofu is not for everyone and believe me, I don’t normally like it, but when it’s crunchy it sort of takes my brain a few more minutes to process what I’m eating which is why I gave in and ate this Crispy Tofu – instead of the soba noodles we changed it out for a veggie stir fry and added a little brown rice! It was delicious and super filling! I usually snack a bit after dinner, but I was stuffed after just one plate of this! We’ll definitely be making this again!
Favorite Show
Last year Bloodline debuted on Netflix to sort of mixed reviews – I’ll admit that the first season was really hard to get into, but about 5 episodes in, you get hooked. Over Memorial Day Weekend the second season premiered and we didn’t have any problems getting sucked in! Over the course of 4 days we finished the 10 episodes in the 2nd season and I have to say it was way better than the first (in my opinion) – so if you haven’t watched it yet – it’s a good one!
Favorite DIY
I have been wanting to organize all my recipes in some sort of coherent way and came acrossthese recipe binder printables on I Heart Organizing – all that’s left is to get the binder!
Favorite Beauty Item
I have been loving overnight masks and just recently finished this one from Origins (also reviewed here) and as much as I loved it, I’m ready to try out a different one. I’ve tried other First Aid Beauty products so I’m really excited to get their overnight mask! One reviewer on amazon said the bottle lasted them 4 months – that’s a pretty great ROI for $38!

I have been a fan of Chip and Jo Jo since day one! Darling in every way!! I love a good mask, going to give that one a try!! I hope you have the BEST weekend gorgeous lady!!
I love Chip and Joanna's story! I can't wait until their new season!
I so have to check out that recipe binder link!!! My current system, or lack there of is so not working.
Good morning, and happy Friday!! I made a crunchy tofu recipe this week too, which was so random because I NEVER cook tofu…but I used zucchini noodles, which were also delicious!
I saw that Chip and Joanna link on Facebook this week, and I read and (yes..) fell in love with them even more. I hope that they stay strong in believing what they believe and supporting strong family values! It seems like there have been quite a few strong TV families (the Gosselins, the Duggards…) who started out being unshakeable, but 5-10 years of fame got to them and then things went downhill… 🙁 I really hope that doesn't happen with the Gaines, though!
I agree about Tofu. When it's crispy, it is not too bad. That recipe binder is so cute!! I love keeping all mine in a little binder (that I made in high school) lol Have a great weekend!!!
I need a new show to watch and should check out Bloodline. Love First Aid Beauty Products! That overnight mask sounds amazing! I have my recipes in a paper folder and really need to download that printable and put them in a binder! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend!

I've heard that about "Bloodline," and we need a new show to get into this summer. (Plus, I love him from "Friday Night Lights!" 😉
I can’t get on board with tofu either… I want to like it, but just not there yet. Maybe I’ll give that recipe a try! LOVE that article on the Forbes women!
Ok can I just say–I'm so glad you mentioned Bloodline because Steven keeps trying to convince me to watch it. The trailers and stuff didn't really pull me in but maybe now I'll give it a try! Happy Friday girl!

Never tried tofu, even the thought of it weirds me out but I think I could try it cooked that way! I loooove the Gaines' they are seriously the sweetest couple!
I've been on the lookout for a new show to watch when the weather's lousy and I'm thinking Bloodline might be it. Good to know that I need to stick with it through the first season!
I loved Bloodline, but it was tough after the first episode to get into it and then it got so good. I am waiting to start season two but I am barely holding off! I also love Chip and Joanna and now read that instead of getting ready this am 😉 Hope you have a great weekend sweets! XO

We never finished Bloodline, but hearing this season is better than the first one kind of makes me want to finally finish season 1! That mask sounds amazing– I want to try out some new skincare products soon. Happy Friday!!
Everyone is talking about Bloodline, I should check it out. I love those pretty recipe binder organizers! Enjoy your weekend!
Did not even guess that was tofu!!! WHAT???
Also Chip and Joanna are the cutest couple ever, I love the fact that they seem so open on TV about their relationship and the fact that they are such great home decor/home reno people. I need them to come reno my house haha.

Oh I so need to try that mask. I just used the new glam glow one (you peel it off), didn't think it did anything. It was such a pain to get off too. haha Have a great weekend.
I always forget how much I like tofu because my husband flat out refuses to try it!! I used to eat it all the time before we were married, though! I might have to make this when he is out of town soon! Enjoy your weekend!!
I love those recipe binder printables! All of my handwritten recipes are just stacked in a drawer and difficult to sift through when I need one. Have a great weekend! Cheers, Laura
I have been trying to use masks more on my face! I will have to look for that one

Okay, so I'm making this tofu recipe this weekend because I have a package of it sitting in my fridge, you're a life saver! I love watching Chip & Joanna on HGTV and when I read about their love story, I fell in love with them even more! I love random love stories because my husband and I met, you would never guess…at a bus stop! Yup, I missed my bus, it was fate, and that's how we met nearly 10 years ago, haha! Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend ahead, I can't wait to read all about it on Monday, beautiful!

I'm definitely not a tofu fan either, and you're right, mostly because of the consistency. I will consider giving this one a try, for sure! Have a great weekend!

That tofu does look/sound good!!! So does that mask! I just adore the Gaines, they are so darn cute and I love their show! I feel the same way about Bloodline, it was slow getting in to but now I have to know what happens! Have a great weekend!
I prefer tofu when its super crispy too! I just can't eat it when its soft – or in big chunks!
Stopping over from the link up. Hope you can hop by my blog as well!

You're reminding me that I need to stop watching Real Housewives repeats and get on some Netflix series before my maternity leave is over. I love a good binge watch.

Another amazing way to eat tofu, is after it's crispy, ground it up. Kind of like you would ground beef. Put it on tacos with some peppers, and you'll be in heaven! I'm so behind in blogging, but I hope you had a wonderful weekend! (:
That recipe sounds amazing, I've never had crispy tofu, but it sounds so good!! I started Bloodline, but honestly it was exactly what you said, hard to get into at first…now after reading this I will try again and give it a chance and get past episode 5 to hopefully get into it!
I need to watch Bloodline! I keep hearing good things! Also, that tofu recipe looks delicious! And, yes to Chip & Jo's love story! xo, Champagne&Suburbs
