Happy Monday friends!! Highlights of the weekend include getting a much needed hair cut, girl’s night with a great friend & discovering a new show on Netflix!! All of that left few opportunities for photos, so as I was reading this month’s Instyle, I decided to do their cover quiz and try a little something different for this week’s Monday post. It’s the if you could only choose one…
wear one outfit || Skinny jeans, leopard flats & a fun blouse – go to outfit for day or night!
have one style icon || Reese Witherspoon – perfect mix of classic, preppy & colorful when needed!
shop at one store || Have to choose one that sells pretty much everything I’d need and that award goes to Nordstrom!
carry one handbag || Picking one handbag for me is like picking a favorite child – perhaps not that extreme, but I take my bags seriously!! I’d have to say my GM Louis Vuitton Never Full. I had it on my wishlist for a few years and 5 years ago when Gary and I were in Aruba, I finally bought it for myself and was so proud!! Not to mention I pack it to the brim and it stands but it’s name – it NEVER get’s full!
use one skincare product || Pond’s cream has been my go to for years – it takes forever to go through the moisturizer and it hydrates my skin so well!
wear one scent || Dolce & Gabbana light blue takes me back to the summer of my freshman year of college and makes me so happy!
indulge in one spa treatment || the longest massage offered at any spa!!
apply one lipstick color || MAC Snob – love the pretty pink!
order one drink || Bellini – love the champs and peach puree!

apply one mascara || Maybelline lash sensational is my absolute favorite mascara – I’ve gone through 5 tubes!
do one workout || I’m going to go with a workout I’ve only done a few times, but platform offered by pure barre is insanely good!! Not only do you get an incredible sweat session, but you burn a ton of calories!! If you saw my snapchat this weekend (@blovedboston) – I burned 400 calories in one hour- now that’s a workout I can get behind!!
read one author || Based on author’s I’ve read more than one book by – I’d have to say Emily Giffin – Something Borrowed, Something Blue & Baby Proof have been read numerous times!

What a great idea for a post to switch things up! I agree a comfortable outfit with jeans and flats is definitely the safest go-to for day and night and that workout sounds amazing, I will have to check it out.

Emily Giffin definitely writes some of my favorite books for sure! I'm so glad you like platform! I am actually not training in it so I can enjoy the classes and get a workout that I'm not always so familiar with!

I have the same bag and I LOVE it! I would recommend getting a leather moisturizer though and rubbing it on the handles and the trim on the bag, as they do tend to get dry and start to crack! I loved your haircut on IG, it was so pretty!

It is too funny that you mentioned Pond's!!! We were out to dinner last week with family, and our 80-something year old Aunt has the most AMAZING skin!
