It’s the start of March and undoubtedly my favorite month!! This month is going to be full of travel related posts, a few about me (hello birthday month) and some other little things for good measure. To kick things off I wanted to share my favorite travel makeup items – these are products that I take with me on trips – with the caveat being that they have to be easy to travel with!!
FOR THE FACE & BODY
FOR THE FACE & BODY
- If you haven’t tried IT Cosmetics CC cream yet, you’re missing out. This provides full coverage without feeling heavy on the face and gives you UV protection (50 SPF). I purchased the travel size in “light” for this trip and even though the full size version isn’t too bulky, it’s nice that this wont take up too much space in my makeup bag!
- These little Evian Facial Water mist sprays are so handy!! I don’t travel without them and they are the perfect refresher after a long flight (hello cross country traveling) or a warmer climate. It’s water, I totally get that, but it’s refreshing & perks you right up when you’re hot or feeling tired! Also if you like to lay by the pool but not get in the water – this is great to use to cool off!
- I don’t tan, I burn! I’m also quite impatient when it comes to laying out by the pool / beach – for this fact the one night only wash off body lotion is needed!!
FOR THE EYES
FOR THE EYES
- Bobbi Brown creamy shadow sticks have become my everyday favorite eye shadows. They are incredibly easy to apply and blend with your fingers. I usually incorporate two of the colors and blend, blend, blend. They last ALL day long & are really smudge proof once their on!
- I’ve gotten so much better about not carrying tons of palettes with me when I travel! Before we left for Dubai last year I bought the UD Basics palette – just 6 matte shades that will work with any day or night time look! I love how compact it is and doesn’t take up much space since it isn’t bulky. If I want a little extra something I just use one of my shadow sticks.
FOR THE HAIR
FOR THE HAIR
- I use this Moroccan Oil every day after the shower – it’s a multipurpose Argan oil that repairs your hair – specifically dry or split ends. I use the travel size regardless of if I’m traveling or not because about a dime size amount is enough for my hair and you’ve all seen how much hair I have! My hair tends to get super dry when I’m traveling, be it different weather conditions or even the water from the different showers so I like knowing that my hair will be as close to normal as possible while using this.
- The Tangle Teezer was sent to me a few months ago to test out and ever since I’ve been carrying this compact brush with me everywhere! It’s so slim & lightweight and does a great job of combing through the most windblown hair. As someone that doesn’t really blow dry their hair unless it’s freezing outside, this compact brush is all I need on trips! It also has a protective cover that keeps the bristles in perfect shape.
- I wouldn’t say I use dry shampoo all that often, but second day hair is just about my favorite thing ever! I have fallen in love with the dry shampoo for dark tones from Moroccan oil and have gone through about 3 bottles now, all travel size! It smells so good & actually works – which in the grand scheme of things is all you need! Bonus: not chalky residue that I’ve had with all other dry shampoos that I’ve tested!
We won’t even touch on lipstick or gloss because I will carry at least 10 with me on any given trip – it’s my thing and I can’t change that!! If you want to see some of the toiletry items I always have on hand you can check this post out!

I finally got some if that Evian face spray…it is amazing!! I love all your travel things as lots of travel for me lately too and my Birthday is April 2. K, March is the month of Biana and April is the month of Andrea, lol. We got this girl!!
Can't wait to read the posts about you this month! And yes to dry shampoo when traveling! (and even when staying home ha!) On my wish list is an Naked palette but I am loving that basics palette–I'm all about browns for the eyes because I have blue eyes. Such a fun month for you!

Such a great list! I'm all about the IT CC cream, it seriously is the best! Everyone keeps talking about the Evian spray and how fab it is — I really need to jump on the train! I will have to add it to my list of vacation items when we travel in May and save this post! Happy Wednesday, Biana!

All of these are great! I'm pretty sure you're the one that turned me onto that self-tanner!
Woohoo for birthday month!!! I know you must be excited, girl, and with so many travels coming up too! Some of these products I've heard of, but I've never tried any of them before. I'm most interested in the IT Cosmetics CC cream, I've been reading nothing but positive things about it lately and I'm already familiar with the brand, since I have a contour palette and makeup brush, both of which are amazing. The next I'd love to try is that dry shampoo! It's been so hard for me to find one I love and that works well with my fine textured oily prone hair. This one sounds quite amazing, especially considering you've gone through 3 bottles already! I also would pick up the Evian spray when traveling from now on, many others swear by it too after a long flight as well, so I guess it really is worth it. Thanks so much for sharing your travel must haves with us, gorgeous, and I hope you have the best start to your month!

Happy Birthday month!

Those BB shadow sticks sound amazing, I can't believe I've never tried them! And YES to the Tangle Teaser. My hair gets tangled SO easy when it's wet so it's the only thing I use to brush my hair after the shower/pool. Love these! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
I love my Naked palette but am looking at something smaller for traveling- maybe the chocolate one from Too Faced? And I can't get enough of that CC cream, I just bought 2 more travel sizes!

Medicine & Manicures
I love this list! I'm actually going to be downsizing my makeup bag next week because it has a bunch of random crap I don't use anymore. I need to get a couple of travel sized items to bring along in my carry on! The IT Cosmetics CC has been on my list to try for forever. Maybe I'll pick it up on this trip home ๐ xo
I keep meaning to pick up the IT CC cream, it has been on my list for years. The BB shadow sticks are in such pretty colors. I want them ALL.
Great travel makeup post! I agree that cream eyeshadows and a facial mist are necessary for a long-lasting look! Nice pics, have a great day!

YAY for your birthday month! Woo woo! I always love your make up recommendations, they are so helpful!
That palette is so pretty. I also love the color of that Bobbi Brown eye shadow stick. I was looking at some of those at Sephora yesterday. Maybe I should go back and get one lol. Thanks for sharing and I hope that you enjoy your day!
So excited for all of your posts for your favorite month! I'm definitely missing out because I haven't tried that CC Cream yet…I think I need to change that. xo Beautifully Candid

OH SNAP – I totally have that Tangle Teaser & forgot out it. You made me remember it – I gotta go digging in my cabinets. I loved that thing!
I see some of my absolute favorites here! I have not tried the dry shampoo though — and I'm looking for one that's suitable for darker hair. I will try this one once I run out of the DryBar Detox.
Yay for birthday month!

Dry shampoo was my best friend this weekend! I always carry a thing of sunscreen as well. Even though I'm naturally tan, don't want to risk skin cancer just in case.

Happy Birthday month! I love my UD naked 2 palette. I need to try that St. Tropez wash off lotion, I love their self tanner foam!
I LOVE Evian water mist spray! I keep one in my beach bag and use it to cool off at the pool during the summer. It's so flipping hot here in the south, and that is such an easy way to cool off!

Happy Birthday Month gurlie! Such an exciting month coming up for you, I can't wait to hear all your recs for San Fran and wine country. I finally pulled the trigger on the moraccan oil, and that Evian spray is a travel must <3
Green Fashionista
ooh i didn't know Moroccan oil made a dark tone dry shampoo, i'll have to check it out. i like the bastiste one, but it can leave brown stuff on my face/pillow and i can't touch my hair, which is annoying. i can't believe i haven't tried the it cosmetics cc cream, one day!
I need that tangle teaser! The wind here is insane and I go from nicely polished to windy unkempt mess in minutes. Looking into it now ๐
I love IT Cosmetics! I'll have to try that CC cream! xo jillian – cornflake dreams

So many good products! I still haven't been able to find the evian water spray but it definitely sounds refreshing especially when traveling! I'd be interested in trying those creamy eyeshadows too!
Ooooo creamy eye shadows?! When I travel, I tend to take one palette, some mascara (usually skip the liner when traveling) and the basic powders and everyday face stuff.
I got a sample of this IT Cosmetics foundation and I liked it, SPF 50 is a huge plus especially that summer is coming. I need to get this UD Basics Pallette,

Thirteen Thoughts
I had that cc cream noted from you mentioning it before and I totally chickened out on buying it recently! I'm not a foundation person and some of the reviews I read made me feel like it was more so thick like foundation. Is that true?! Love that little brush! I currently use the mini wet brush for throwing in my purse or travel! Thanks for sharing!
I want to try that cc cream and the creamy eye shadow!
I love this round up. It can be so hard to minimize necessities for trips, but this is the perfect round up. I need to try the It Cosmetics cc cream! I've heard such wonderful things. And that Evian mist is a lifesaver – especially in the heat!

I got the same palette for traveling and it's the best! I have to try those Bobbi eye sticks, I love anything like that!! I'm so excited for you guys and your trip!! Living and traveling around California was the BEST!
I'm so glad you posted bout this- I'm headed to NY and then Raleigh next week and definitely need some great travel items!
DANG. I was really hoping that St. Tropez was a face wash and moisturizer in one… I'm looking for something super easy for my short and sweet trips when I don't want to check a bag!
The CC cream is my new obsession! It's so good!
How did I not know about that one night tanning lotion? My ghost-white legs could've used that in Florida last week!
I need that cc cream and more info on the one night lotion. So cool.
You should try It! Cosmetics confidence in a compact, too! So handy! Love the Evian spray! xx, I'm Fixin' To
