Happy Monday friends! I have been wanting to do this post for quite some time and once I got one of my dream bags I knew it was time!! Some women love shoes, others love clothes & some have a serious love for purses – I fall into that category!! When it comes to a great bag, I’m willing to wait, do the right amount of research and save up to make that purchase even sweeter! Some of these bags are still available, but some are either limited edition or aren’t made anymore – regardless they are still my most loved purses! I know they aren’t everyone’s thing, but I sort of feel like I can conquer the world with the right bag on my arm!

The Regan Satchel was my third Rebecca Minkoff purchase & definitely my favorite one! I decided to go with a bit of a different dusty blue color because I knew it was different from anything in my collection (using that word very loosely here) and I felt like I could wear it 3 out of the 4 seasons! It’s spacious enough for me to wear to work & travel with, which I did for our California Road Trip!

I spotted the black sole society bag on Instagram and was on the hunt for what could be an every day smaller black bag that I could wear on the weekends! Sadly, this was only a limited edition bag (there are a few in stock in the emerald color) but I wore it so much this past winter! For a smaller bag it was surprisingly very roomy – I could even fit my iPad mini in it if I wanted to!

- The little tassels are a little flimsy so I’ve lost pretty much all of the ones it came with
- While the strap is comfortable, if you are wearing a slippery fabric like a leather jacket – it does tend to fall off a bit.

When Gary and I were on our first real vacation together I decided to splurge on the bag that I had been lusting over for 2 years – the Louis Vuitton Neverfull – GM (largest size) with the classic monogram. Now when you purchase the Neverfull it comes with a handy little pochette (small zipper pouch) that you could use for better organizing, but 7 years ago when I purchased mine it sadly didn’t come with that. I use this bag every single day – it truly lives up to it’s name of “neverfull” and I can’t imagine this ever going out of style. I use this on every single trip & love that I can pack it full of everything any anything, which is also what makes it pretty heavy!

- There is only one interior pocket, but other than that it’s up to you to organize. You can find organizers on etsy, but I honestly never really had the need for it.
- The shoulder straps are very thin, which makes them cut into your shoulder if you aren’t careful – especially when you’ve packed the bag full!

I first spotted this bag at Bloomingdales and loved that it didn’t look like the conventional Burberry bag – no checkered print at all! I couldn’t stop thinking about it, but by the time I was ready to purchase it, they were already out of stock and not going to be made again! I scoured eBay & managed to find a brand new with tags, still in the box with everything included for a decent price reduction and I opted for the “buy it now” because I couldn’t let this pass me by again! The leather is like buttahhhh – it’s so soft & the straps with gold hardware give the bag a little edge! I’ve had the bag for three years now and this style still seems relevant.

Ah…my dream bag! At this point, if you’re on instagram you’ve definitely seen this Louis Vuitton bag! The story of how this bag came to be is long, but so worth it now that I have “her!” A little over two years ago I first spotted this bag, it wasn’t quite as popular yet, but I didn’t feel like I needed it so I decided to wait. Fast forward and it started popping up everywhere and I still couldn’t stop thinking about it so I started to save. I knew it was going to be my 30th birthday present from me to me, so I was really eager to have it in March. Well turns out everyone else wanted the bag too because there was a waitlist for the monogram print and it was nowhere to be found (trust me, I looked in every store from NYC to California). I put myself on the waitlist in Boston and not so patiently waited until I finally got her one month after my birthday!! Well worth the wait & I absolutely love the bag!! I wear it every chance I get – which you’ve probably seen from my Instagram, but I just can’t help it! Absolutely the best purchase & after this one…I think I’m done for a while! If you’re interested in a “what’s in my bag” for this one I’d be super happy to do one!!

- The cross body strap is adjustable & also comes in the monogram print instead of the vachetta strap
- Exterior zipper picket in the back that is perfect for keeping your phone accessible.
- Timeless style that is always a conversation starter – can’t tell you how many times someone has asked me about the bag.

- You can’t really do much with the handle except for carry it in your hand- too short to have in the crook of your arm
- Waitlist for just about every color option on there now, but clearly there’s demand for it
I mentioned at the start of the post, that I do my homework with purses that “I have my eye on” – I read reviews & then check it out in the store (probably 5 or so times) really try them on and only then do I commit. I guess when I think of most loved, I think of the bags that I wear the most. I’m in the process of figuring out a closet redesign and hoping that I don’t have to stuff them in their little corners for much longer.

I love purses, too! You know I got a LV for my 30th, too! I love your newest one – such a classic style. I think a Chanel and Burberry on still on my lust list, but really, the neverfull is so great, I don't know if I will ever switch!
That pochette and Neverfull are definitely my favorites and they are an investment that you will never lose money on. That is how I always justify them to Mark π
I am a total shoes and bag fanatic! I love my LV neverfull, I used it as my diaper bag with an insert and it was amazing. I still carry it everywhere. I also love my Gucci horse bit satchel, such a classic bag. My Tory Burch cross body will always be a favorite too because it is mini and fits just the right amount of stuff when I don't have all my kids with me.

I'm so glad you did this post because I wanted to know your thoughts on that LV purse you've recently got for your birthday! I remember seeing it on your b-day wishlist, so when I started to see photos of you wearing it, I was happy you were able to get it! It's one I've been thinking about myself, I didn't know that there's a wait list for it though. It's crazy how impactful social media is, right?! It's such a great size, I love how compact it is, especially as a soon to be mama. I have a couple of LV bags that I love, but aren't the best for everyday because their handles are a bit impractical. That said, I've had my eyes also on the Neverfull for a long time and I've always imagined it being my diaper bag, but now I'm having reservations because of what you mentioned about the handle. I'll definitely have to think about it more because I HATE that feeling when a bag digs into my shoulders, especially since I have such boney shoulders as it is. The reason you love your LV Neverfull is the reason that I love my Longchamp bag! I swear you can fit so much into it, and I can't wait to use it when we head to Europe in a couple of weeks! The only con like you said is that sometimes things can get lost in there. That's so exciting that you ended up getting that new bag and that it's everything that you wanted it to be!

Love this review! I have the Neverfull MM and love it – I was torn between the MM and the GM and sometimes I wish I had gone for the largest size, but overall, the MM has done the trick! The Pochette Metis is next on my list (either that or a wallet) but I love seeing the Pochette every time you have a picture with it!

I am in a purse crisis right now. One of the zippers on the bag I have carried everywhere for two years is broken. I'm googling repairs as we speak. We get attached to these bags, right? I actually haven't bought one since and I am hellbent on fixing this one. LOL
I'm with you I'd rather spend my big money purchases on purses! Actually, the one you just got is high up on my list! Since I'll have a diaper bag with me a lot in the fall I want to start getting some smaller purses that I can wear with it or throw into it too – I'm glad to hear it has pockets and such and can fit the iPad mini – I didn't even realize there was a waitlist, I better get on it soon!

Suede is gorgeous for a bag but definitely can't be used daily with the delicate material. You have a cute collection…all very different from mine which I like. I don't own anything from Louis Vuitton but the pochette is adorable and looks like it can fit a lot for a "small" purse!
I make sure my bags are practical, especially if I'm using it every day. I love my Michael KORS one right now. I like that Rebecca Minkoff bag though! I already have two cross body bags from her so I have to watch it lol

I love a good satchel/tote and I've recently started "investing" in some from Ralph Lauren. I got an off-white one with gold metal accents that I wore for the first time yesterday. It is small enough to be stylish yet big enough to carry my flats around if I need them.

Love this post! I am totally a bag person as well. Like you I'd rather save up for a nice bag than have a bunch of less expensive ones. There's just something about a nice bag that elevates your whole outfit! The Metis is #1 on my wishlist – I've been wanting it for so long too, and it's crazy how much it blew up! I also like the Neverfull but I think I'd get annoyed that it doesn't have a zipper – does that ever bug you? Ugh LV and their bags… I got the Alma BB a few years ago and the desire for more hasn't stopped!

Okay so when I was in Naples a few months ago, I was looking at some bags and fell in love with this one!! We didn't get it bc we were closing on our house but Ryan later went to the store here in Charlotte to get it for my birthday. They then told him it was discontinued and there was a huge waitlist so he got me a different crossbody (which was nice but didnt LOVE it) so then I went to the store to pick out the Turenne and I'm in love with it!! I love the Pochette Metis though and you're so lucky that you got one off the waitlist! Apparently it has been out for forever but only lately has gained so much popularity… thanks to bloggers I guess π
