Happy Monday friends! After battling a cold most of last week, I was really looking forward to a relaxing weekend. What I got was a fun filled weekend with not a whole lot of down time! Bright side, the cold is officially gone so I guess I didn’t need relaxation after all!
After work on Friday Jackie & I made our way to the Museum of Science to meet with one of our couples getting married in September! This is our first time coordinating a wedding at the Museum of Science & we are so looking forward to all the unique touches this couple has decided on, including a live wedding painter! We finished up the meeting and met up with the guys at ReelHouse in East Boston.
The only time I venture to East Boston is when I’m going to the airport! With new developments and restaurants it’s more likely we’ll all be going to the other side of the harbor a lot more! The views & atmosphere of the restaurant were great – we had a fun time waiting for our table on their patio. Unfortunately, the restaurant definitely needs to work on the speed that food comes out.
We ended up waiting over an hour for our entree’s, but the manager was incredibly accommodating & apologetic so I know we’ll try to head back one more time before it get’s too crisp outside! The best part is that you can take a free boat “taxi” from ReelHouse to Pier 6 in the Navy Yard, one of it’s affiliated restaurants, which is exactly what we did after dinner to continue the fun on the other side of the city!
The weather this weekend was incredible – we spent pretty much all the time we could outside. At the start of the summer we went to the driving range and thought it would be a fun way to cap off one of the last weekends of summer the same way! Can’t say we did any better, but we certainly weren’t as bad as the first go around!
The Streetin Chestnut Hill is one of my favorite outside mall’s in the area – lots of really cute stores & a fun pink garage!

I must have been under a rock the majority of last week because I had no idea that the fight between Mayweather & McGregor was such a big deal. We were all pretty interested in watching it so after another delicious dinner at Painted Burro we had a very late night with our friends. I finally tried the unicorn kisses polar seltzer water that’s been everywhere – funny enough I can’t find it at any stores! A few people asked what it tasted like – you definitely get a bit of pineapple flavor when you first sip on it!
Saturday night shenanigans surprisingly didn’t result in a late start to Sunday! Making the most of low 70’s – we trekked all over the outskirts of the city. A few fall candles were purchased and I’ve slowly started to bring back the jackets! Perhaps a little overzealous since it does feel pretty warm outside!

Yay for feeling better! I didn't realize the fight was so huge either, my hubby got it and had some friends over but I couldn't stay up to watch, I was up too late the night before LOL. Look at all those fall candles, can't wait to go buy some!

ah what a fun weekend! spending all the time outside is a necessity when the weather is that nice. loving the views from your fri night out. that sun! glad you still had fun although it was a long wait. and that they were apologetic. sometimes that's all you need to make up for some sub par service! anyway happy week girly!

What a fun weekend! I haven't heard of either restaurants but the water taxi to the other one sounds pretty cool! The weather was beautiful this weekend. I went to the Plymouth Waterfront Festival. I'm going to Gen Beauty in NY towards the end of Sept so I can not wait!
