Happy Monday friends! With lobster rolls & tulips bloomingm Saturday was definitely the highlight of this weekend!
If you’re planning a trip to Boston, then this could be a little guide of an afternoon in the city!
Start with what New England is known for, lobster rolls! Officially had my first lobster roll of the season at Cultivar in the Ames Hotel! Their outdoor patio was open and we were surprised that we were able to snag a table! I have a fun roundup post of all my favorite lobster rolls coming up soon!
If you’re looking for a breeze then heading towards Christopher Columbus park is the way to go! This past Saturday it was in full bloom! There’s a great park for the kids & my favorite Joe’s American Bar & Grill is located right there! Hooking a right takes you to the Harbor Walk!
Whenever Gary is taking outfit photos for me, we get mistaken for tourists & this woman pretty much insisted that Gary and I take a photo together!! Can’t say I minded it π Check out his arm pop – totally learned that from me!
Boston has a lot of fun murals, but I was shocked that we ran into Kelsey Montaguethe same artist that painted the mural that I absolutely fell in love with in Galway (check it out here)! She was commissioned to do a few murals around the city & we stumbled upon her working on one downtown! I can’t wait to take some pictures now that it’s done!
I think what people find most surprising about Boston is how walkable the city is – you would have no problem walking from the harbor where we had lunch down towards the public garden and Newbury street where we ended up! Bonus is getting all your steps in! Now that everything is in bloom – it’s the perfect time to visit – actually pretty much anytime from now until October is perfect!
One of the most frequent questions I’m asked is what I take my photos with – it’s all with the iPhone 8 Plus!
Have I convinced you to visit Boston yet?

That's so cool that you got to meet Kelsey, looks like she is painting something super fun!
I have never had a lobster roll, but every time you share a picture of one….I drool! I have got to get up there and try one….or a dozen π Look how cute your bump it! Love Gary's arm pop. Clearly he learned from the best. Hope you have a great week!
First off, what are the odds that you'd run into that artist?! That's pretty awesome, she's so incredibly talented. As for your outfit, you look so cute with the growing bump and I adore those loafers, which look so chic and comfy. I definitely look forward to reading that post on your lobster rolls faves because you're probably the only person I know of that shares the deep obsession for lobster as I do, haha. Thanks for sharing, beautiful, and I hope you have a great week ahead!

Wow, everything is so pretty there right now. Thanks for sharing! How fun to meet the mural artist. We are planning to take a quick trip once a year with our besties and Boston is on our list. Yippee!!! XO
That lobster roll looks so amazing!! They are one of my favorite things to get. You can find them every now and then around here but I'm sure they are nothing like the yummy ones you can get around you!! Sierra~Beautifully Candid

Boston is so beautiful in the Spring! Your pictures have me itching to make it back! We were pleasantly surprised by how walkable Boston was as well! We had no problem getting around to all the touristy places we wanted to visit!
Yes, that lobster roll picture alone has me convinced that I need to visit! The last time I went to Boston I was young, and I was a picky eater…so now I really want to go back so I can take advantage of the fresh seafood!
I'm just swooning over your baby bump. SO DANG CUTE!!!! & yes, I'll probably say this 100 more times till little Baby Boston comes π
I walked 10 miles that day I met up in Boston with you, it really us so walkable! I hope to get up there this time of year one year. The flowers are so pretty! I love that you got to meet the muralist, that is serendipity!
That lobster roll looks to die for! YUM! mariannyc.com/2018/05/03/finery-cocktails-event/
I love lobster rolls but I'm so picky with them. There is a place that me that has the best lobster rolls hands down. I won't get them anywhere else lol That is so cool you ran into the artist painting the mural! Boston is def great for walking from place to place.
It's amazing your photos are taken with a cell phone–they're so gorge! I'm so happy to be seeing all the flowers popping up all over.
