Happy Friday friends! First and foremost, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by Hurricane Michael.
This weekend we’re taking Sophia on her longest car ride so please say a few prayers that there are no severe meltdowns! I think the week was even faster than I anticipated because of Columbus Day, Gary working from home and going to a work event on Thursday!
Absolute favorite this week is Sophia turning 2 months old on Tuesday! Not quite sure where the time went, but she’s a little doll. She’s 11 pounds and 11 ounces of goodness and has these little rolls that are just too much to handle. I have 3 weeks left of maternity leave and each day is getting harder and harder knowing I wont be with her all the time. Thankfully I’m leaving her in the capable hands of her daddy!
I took my first Pure Barre class in what was almost a year of not working out and it felt incredible! I haven’t felt my legs shake and burn like that in quite some time and the soreness I felt the day after was the best! Hoping to make it to at least one class a week! When I head back to work I plan on hitting the gym during lunch for at least 30 minutes that way I don’t have to spend time before or after work thinking about working out! When do you guys find the time to work out?
We had a couple days of seriously gorgeous weather and I’m pretty sure it was the last hurrah before the cold starts. It was my only chance this year to break out my white jeans!
With heading back to work in a few weeks, I’ve been thinking of how I’m going to be organized and actually use the planner that I’ve had for a few months. I follow Fashionably Kay on IG and her planner game (is that a thing!?) is just so fun! I bought some fun stickers from the Happy Planner to jazz up my pages and hopefully get me excited to actually use it! I think being able to have my work, appointments and blog stuff all in one place will be helpful.
It only took me 8 weeks, but I finally created Sophia’s newborn photo book. I had this on my “to do” list for so long and I’m happy to finally check that one off! I used a lot of their idea pages just to make it easier on myself and filled in the photos on my own. I also printed off a few of my favorite photos to add to our gallery wall that I’ll share once they arrive.
That’s all from me today! Hope you have a great weekend friends.
Time is flying! Little Sophia is just as cute as can be and looks like the perfect mix of you and Gary! I workout at night but I’m slowly trying to shift to morning so that it’s off my list for the day! Have a great weekend and fingers crossed for your car ride!
The Sophia sweetness is pure joy!!! And you look amazing!! Have fun this weekend, good luck beauty!! xo
Aww Sophia’s newborn book looks adorable! She is getting big so fast and looks so precious!! Hope your weekend car ride goes smoothly! Happy Friday friend 🙂

Good for you doing that photo book! My kids are nine and six and I haven’t done one yet LOL
Oh goodness, thoughts and prayers your way! I still remember Walker's first car trip. When I was working full-time, I would try to do EVERYTHING at lunchtime so I could just come home and be "Mommy." It was so nice to get all of those errands, to-do's, etc. checked off during that hour. Have a great weekend!
Happy 2 months to your precious Sophia!! My heart is so full for you, friend! Hooray for checking off completing her newborn photo from your to do list! You will cherish that for a lifetime!! xo!
Planner stickers – I own way too much of it & cant get enough 🙂
Good luck on that trip! Just go with the flow – you never can predict these things. As long as everyone is safe at the end of each ride, its all a success 🙂
That picture of Sophia makes her look like a whole different person – it's crazy how fast they change! She is so adorable! And isn't the first workout post baby the best feeling? It's not the easiest but I swear the endorphins are nuts! I've always tried to squeeze in workouts by incorporating the kids, mommy and me yoga classes or going to Barre3 where they have really awesome childcare (it always helped socialize my kids at an early age lol) or stroller walks/jogs.
Sophia is just precious and such a beautiful baby! And you look fabulous! Going back to work is hard, I know, but hopefully it will be an easy transition for you. It is definitely hard to find time to exercise with babies/kids, I think your lunch break is a great idea, and then you can always go on walks/jogs (I know the Boston weather gets cold though!) and sometimes I will just put on my workout clothes and do some stuff while I'm feeding the kids, or just around the house, hold her and do squats, do some burpees – they usually think that's funny ;), jumping jacks, push-ups while she's on the floor with you. Have a great weekend and hope the drive goes well!
Sophia is getting so big!!! Is Gary going to be staying home with her? If so, that's awesome! I bet a workout felt so good to get your endorphins moving!
The time really does go by so fast! She is getting so big, and she is so, so sweet! My husband works out during his lunch break a few times a week if he has time, so he doesn't have to worry about it once he gets home & he's really been enjoying it. You are inspiring me to finally get around to organizing some of our photos- I finally at least downloaded Google Photos, lol. I hope you guys have a good weekend & an easy road trip!
Love the newborn book, so cute! I cant believe that sweet girl is already two months old. Time is just flying! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
That newborn photo book is TOO cute, Biana! She is getting so big…I just can't handle it! Isn't it insane how fast time flies? Cheers to roadtrips – she'll do great, and I'm sure you will, too! Enjoy the last few weeks though because returning to work is bittersweet! Happy weekend 🙂
Love the cover of your memory book! You will be so glad you did that later on! Sophia is just a little doll, like you said! So precious! Enjoy these moments, Mama! One day she’ll be 13!!!
Ah she is the CUTEST!! 2 months flew by!!
I cannot believe that Sophia is 2 months old already. That is just crazy! Glad you still have some time left with her before you have to go back. The cover of her memory book is so sweet!
Oh wow, the 2 months just flew by! Enjoy these last three weeks! Pure Barre is killer even when you haven't taken a year off! I am going after work for the first time in a week and I am nervous! Good luck on the car ride and have a great weekend!
2 months old already?! She is such a little doll. I have a feeling she'll be a champ on her car ride. It's so hard going back to work but that's amazing Gary will be with her. I hope you have a great weekend! Sierra Beautifully Candid
Newborn photo books are so sweet. I was great at getting the first three kids baby books completed. The last two kids, well I have all the photographs but they aren’t in a book. She is a doll amd you will do fine going back to work.
Looking fab in those white jeans! Sophia is such a doll and I love when babies have cute rolls to cuddle. Are your parents still in town and safe from Hurricane Michael? Hope the road trip goes smooth this weekend xo Emily @ Martinis & Bikinis
Cool favourites ❤️
Oh she is so cute.. and I can't believe it's already been two months.
Good luck on the trip.

Sophia is such a cutie! It's crazy how quickly their looks change when they are that young. I can imagine going back to work will be hard but its great Gary can stay home with her!
How did your car ride go? I am sure you felta bit nerve-wracked but hopefully it went well and your next trip will be less daunting. You are looking great Mama – and I bet Barre, although it sounds challenging, is great – I've never tried it but would love to give it a go. J xx
I finally have time to read some blogs, and girl the schedule juggling is definitely the hardest part about being a working mom! I honestly didn't start working out until the girls were about 7/8 months old, but I found that it was easier to work out once they went to bed at night because I knew that I wasn't going to wake up early to work out and wouldn't have enough time to workout during lunch because I get so gross.
