The weekend after Thanksgiving has always been the time that we decorate for the holidays. It usually feels like everything happens within a 3 week span, but this year with Thanksgiving falling pretty early on, Hanukkah starting at the very start of December and Christmas at the end of the month, it feels like each holiday really has it’s own moment. Plus, it gives me an opportunity to enjoy my decor a little longer! I rounded up some of my favorite holiday home decor pieces and some I’ve already added to my rotation for this year.

I went to Target on Monday and picked up this super cute throw pillow. I love that it has more vibrant colors than just the traditional ones.
New for us this year is adding an advent calendar to our decor. Obviously Sophia doesn’t get anything that’s going on right now, even though she loves the lights on the tree, so this is still way more for us than her!
I toyed with the idea of getting a very holidayesque throw, but I didn’t really want it to clash too much with our decor, so this light pink woodsy throw is just perfect!
Using ornaments in a non-traditional way is one of my favorite things. I take a square vase and fill it with smaller ornaments, I tend to go with one color scheme.
Since we have a faux tree, the way I get that pine scent is through diffuser and I love the ones from Nest. Would also make a really great gift for someone!
Two little subtle holiday touches that I add include this little burlap tree that I have on our entry way table. I also switch our kitchen towelsthat we hang on the stove – I probably have way more holiday ones than needed, but they’re really too cute to pass up.
We have these snowflake stocking holders – had to buy another pack since they only come in two’s and I added a little snow globe to Sophia’s changing table to give her something fun to look at!
These little touches along with our tree and ornaments really make it feel so cozy this time of year! I hope to keep adding little things here and there as I find them, but also as the years go on.
How do you decorate for the holidays?

Love the pillow– I'd be tempted to leave it out year round!! And I am so curious what the Boston Target's Chanukah section looks like… I'm sure bigger than ours!!! Not like I need to spend MORE money at target! LOL!! XOXO, R
SOOOO Cute, that truck towel would make such a fun gift! and LOVE the tassel pillow!
I've been looking for a pine scent diffuser! My cousin has this amazing one from pottery barn she's used for awhile but I can't find the same one. I love little trees scattered through out the house too. I got one for J and I last year for our room!

Such fun holiday additions! The idea of the snow globe on the changing table is so genius!
I love those little burlap trees – they are perfect for almost any spot!
I love the advent calendar, it's such a fun Christmas tradition. I would really enourage people with little kids to get one. We have a Christmas tree advent calendar and each day in Dec. You put a new ornament on the tree (the tree hangs flat on the wall and the ornaments use Velcro). My kids still take turns doing this and they are teenagers. I really thought they would think it beneath them at this point, but they still love it.

I love those snowflake stocking holders! I have reindeer ones for k and I and a paw print for Lola! They are the best because we have nowhere to hang our stockings without them. Emily @ Martinis & Bikinis
Yay for Hanukkah falling earlier in the month so you have a full month of celebrations. We have those stocking holders, and I need that little tree. So cute <3

Target has just the cutest stuff out this year.
The bad thing – not enough. I went the other day to look for new decorations & everything was so picked over & not much left. Gotta snag up on that stuff fast
Loving your picks dear, especially the subtle touch of the little burlap tree. That's a really cute touch.
