Happy Monday friends!! We had a pretty low key weekend and in true New England fashion we had a random 50 degree day followed by a snowy / rainy cold day. As we get into the final days of 2019, I am doing a little goal planning and setting! Last year, Gary and I sat down to write down 5 goals that we had for our home, finances & life in general. We gave ourselves exactly one year – 12/1/2018 to make those happen and at the start of November we did a little check in and were happy to check all 5 goals off our list! We had them displayed on the fridge – front and center so that we always had our eyes on the prize! We’ve already done the same thing for 2019 & since it worked so well for us, I thought I’d do something similar for my own goals in 2019! In the past, I will do a really good job of sticking to the goals and then somewhere during the summer I fall off. This year instead of doing monthly and yearly goals, I’ve decided to try quarterly. The photos below have nothing to do with goal planning, but are a few randoms I took over the weekend!
Closet clean out and sale || I desperately need a proper closet clean out and sale! I have a running list of items that I’m going to be selling, but haven’t gotten around to it. I try to do a clean out twice a year, but I’m already planning on having this on my list every single quarter!
Blog Update || I’ve toyed with the idea of WordPress for a year or so, but it feels like a really big undertaking. I have wanted to make the switch because of how editorial content looks on other sites, the analytics that come with WordPress & that I would be the true owner of my work. If Google (or Blogger) decides to shut down tomorrow, then all the work I’ve put in these last 5 years will go away – that’s a little scary!
Photo Storage || Since having Sophia, every single photo lives on my phone! I need a better way of storing and organizing pictures. Not only to make sure I never lose a single photo, but also because it’ll make creating books that much easier. I am making it a point to have actual albums that she can look back on – digital is great, but nothing beats printed photos!
Blog Post Ideas || Along the same lines as content planning, I want to have a solid plan for the next three months and posts that I need to write, posts that I want to write and leave room in the schedule for things that just come to me! I want to have content planned out at least through March. Let’s finally put that planner to good use! I want to have a good mix of fashion, beauty and lifestyle – perhaps even start sharing recipes again! I haven’t done that in a few years!
Four goals for 3 months! If it doesn’t happen, then I’ll just move it into the next quarter! How do you set goals for yourself? Are you a planner person?

I switched to WordPress last year and you will not regret it! A small learning curve but nothing to scary and the personalization options are so easy and endless!! I'm working on my content plan too- trying for a mix of static days/topics and then the creative ones that come to me! Can't wait to see how the blog blossoms in 2019!
Such good goals– Mike knows a lot about WordPress (I think) so if you get into a pickle, he might be able to help!! XOXO, R
I think it's so great to write out your goals–we always try to do the same especially as a couple! I have been toying with the idea of switching to WordPress for years but I'm so scared about losing content in the conversion. You'll have to keep us posted on how it goes!!

These are great goals!! I'm with you on picture storage. I need something too. And we made the switch from Blogger to WordPress about a year ago. Best decision EVER. I can give you the name/info of the girl that switched everything for us and designed our new site. She is AMAZING.

You get it girl, I love these goals and the photos of all you loves!! Have a very Merry Monday!
I'm loving your idea of quarterly goals! I've already mapped out a few goals and thought about my word for the year that I want to focus on. It worked pretty well for me this year. Can't wait to see all your new content π

This all just speaks to my heart, because I love planning! Great idea to make your goals quarterly instead of just for the big year!!
New England is so beautiful. I love all these photos. And yeay for 50 degree weather in December. You three are the perfect little family, Biana.
Happy Holidays to you three!! <3 Ada.
Sounds like some great goals! I'd love to better plan blog content out this year, as well. Planners to the rescue! Can't wait to see what you've got in store for 2019. π xo
So many great goals and cute photos!

You can do it!!! These goals all sound awesome! I would love to hear the specifics about them too – I stuggle with photo storage, too, and hearing your experience switching to wordpress would definitely be a great read if you care to share!
Great goals! I think you can do it. I like the idea of quarterly goals, what a brilliant idea. Beautiful pictures. What a treat to have 50's degrees in December!!
Quartlery goals are a great idea. Enough time to get things done and not forget them.
Thank you for motivating me to get to some (necessary!) goal planning! I love the idea of quarterly!
I loved making the switch to WP! It takes awhile to get used to, but it's so worth it. I used a service that made the switch for me…I was not going to mess with it, I've heard some pretty scary stories about doing it alone. But then again, I worry about everything!
I can't recommend switching to WordPress enough! I toyed with the idea for YEARS, and I finally did it because I found a company that handled the migration for me (pipdig)…honestly, being able to monitor stats and SEO is so much easier now! I highly recommend it, lady! These are great goals!
I'm not much of a goal setter. Not really sure why…maybe the fear of failure or having it hanging over my head. HA! These are great and I really do wish I could do a better job of planning out blog post instead of flying by the seat of my pants. I have the hardest time coming up with content. Just like Melissa said, Pipdig does an excellent job of taking care of the migration and moving everything over. Well worth the money. I like WordPress a lot better too. There's a tiny learning curve, but you'd probably conquer that in about 30 minutesπHave a great week, Biana (Sophia looks darling in her pink and gray…what a doll!)β€οΈ
Such great photos! I am bad about setting goals, I need to get back into that. I have been so nervous to make the switch to wordpress, I can't wait to see how it works for you!
I'm just started to prep for my goals for 2019. I feel like I haven't had time to breath to get to writing them down yet, but hopefully that will change this week. Hope Monday is treating you good:)

Great photos of y'all! These are great goals – I need to do the same!
I started storing our photos in Google Photos and it has been such a lifesaver! I can access it online or on my phone via the app (and Brandon and I can share photos between each other via the app). We love it!
Goals posts are always some of my favorites to read. Archiving your photos is a huge job but you'll thank yourself when you're done. And have you decided how you're going to sell your old clothes? I have piles and piles to sell but I can't decide which route to take. Part of me wants to sell them on IG under a new account and part of me wants to try some kind of second hand website like Poshmark. I just cannot for the life of me make the decision!
Way to go on making all of your goals for the year. I love that you display them on your fridge and you are accountable all year long. I need to do this for 2019.
You are sooo good! I am not good at planning because I tend to not follow through…..just like i don't like new year's resolutions, planning is the same for me…I like intentions instead, more flexible. You could incorporate baby stuff on your blog now! Sophia is darling! As for WordPress I am one of the few who HATE it. (My dog's blog is on WordPress and my cat blog is on Blogger)…..I find Blogger to be MUCH more user-friendly, but I am not the norm!
Google photos! Auto backup via the app on the phone.
I need to get extremely serious on my clothes situation. I am keeping too many things and still acquiring too many things.
WordPress is a big undertaking, but so worth it!! Great goals girl!
That is a little scary to think if Google or Blogger…. I do know there are sites where you can print out your blog in a book form though.
Now you have me wondering about WordPress myself.
Gosh lady you look stunning and no telling you just had a baby! Lucky genes π Sophia is such a cutie and I think she's starting to look more like you but maybe with some Gary mixed in there. Happy holidays my beautiful friend! xo
Your skin and makeup look AMAZING in these photos!!! Gorgeous!!

Im definitely switching at some point next year. You look stunning btw. Happy holidays!
Setting goals for the new year always is exciting and motivating! All of yours seem very doable – just be sure you have everything in place before switching over to WP. If I'm honest, if it weren't for the whole owning your own content thing I'd probably still be using Blogger for it's ease!
I love this idea and that you made them so front and center. I so agree with the closet, blog, and photo ideas. They all seem so big too – yikes!

These are cute photos, and nice goals to have! I blog what I'm wearing so can't have content planned out that far in advance, but with my YouTube channel I'm hoping to film some more today and start putting ideas together for March and April! π
Hope that you are having a nice week π I wrapped all the Christmas pressies yesterday, so excited for Christmas π

I've been debating switching to WordPress for over a year…I'm still too nervous. Love the pics of you guys around Boston, xo!
