Happy 2019 friends! It’s been so refreshing to take this last week off and really enjoy the end of the year with Gary and Sophia. We had the best time celebrating with our families and now I’m energized and ready for the start of the new year! I spent some time yesterday getting rid of all the beauty products that expired and / or didn’t use! It was getting a little out of control on my dresser and I wanted to start fresh! I have been keeping a list of beauty products that are on my radar and want to try this coming year, so I wanted to make room for them by getting rid of all the old and unused items from the last year!
Automatic Brush Cleaner || Cleaning my makeup brushes is such a chore and one I don’t do as often as I should! It feels so cumbersome to wash them all and then have to wait for them to try, I almost rather buy new brushes than clean them, which I have in the past! Enter this automatic brush cleaner that not only cleans them but will also dry them in one go. It has over 900 reviews and I have read so many of them that claim to be the best purchase ever! I’m all for this not only saving me time doing something I don’t like to do, but also making it less of a chore!
Dyson Airwrap || This is without a doubt the most expensive tool out there which is why not only will I wait for it to go on sale (either during a Sephora Sale or use a 20% off coupon from Bed Bath & Beyond), but I’m going to save, save, save for it. This basically has all the tools necessary to create any type of hairstyle at home in a matter of minutes! I love how my hair looks curled, but really don’t like that it takes 30+ minutes to get the look. I would love to have salon worthy blowouts at home, but don’t have the time. Dyson has figured out a way to make your hair look incredible in a matter of minutes! Sign me up if it means I’ll be saving time on my hair and still have it look really good. The bonus is being able to throw out the other styling tools that I have and never use! It’s currently out of stock pretty much everywhere!
Olay Stick Masks || I am a huge fan of masks, but sometimes don’t really like applying them because of the mess. Olay created these no mess stick masks that roll on without the hassle. They came out with 3 different types – a reset mask, a glow mask and a charcoal mask. I’ll be trying all three this month! I tried the reset mask first last night and I can’t even tell you how easy the application is! Swiped it all over my face and then 10 minutes later, rinsed clean – easiest at home mask I’ve ever done!
Derma Rolling || I have loved my Jade Roller that I got during the summer and it really has come in handy for depuffing in the morning – hello lack of sleep! Derma rolling claims that you can see results in your skin’s appearance within 1-2 weeks if used correctly and with skincare serums. It brightens, repairs and exfoliates your skin – the best part is it doesn’t break the bank like regular facials would! I also ordered this Vitamin C serum to use with it.
By Terry Double Effect Mascara || I have quite a few tubes of mascara to get through before I’m able to justify purchasing this one from By Terry. My favorite YouTuber, Lydia Elise Millen featured this on her channel a few times and her lashes are all her own, never one to have falsies on and they look incredible! I think what has sold me on trying this product is the double wand. – click to the left and you get volume, click to the right and you get length! Two important aspects for lust worthy lashes and it comes in one mascara!
Are there any products you’re excited to try in 2019?
Washing foundation brushes is the worst! And I'm definitely guilty of buying a new one too, lol. I'm really intrigued by that stick mask– what a great concept!
All of these sound so great, especially that make up brush cleaner. I am embarrassed to say I am not sure the last time I cleaned mine!
Happy New Year friend! Glad you enjoyed your time off! These picks all look awesome–especially that curling wand set!

I think I'm going to try the Derma Rolling. Thanks so much for mentioning!
Happy New Year, beautiful! I’m glad you were able to take the week off and enjoy it with the family. I’m the same way when it comes to my makeup brushes, I think most of us are, haha. It’s just too much work. I’ll have to look into getting that cleaner myself and I’m interested in that derma roller, too. I actually purchased a jade roller after reading your post about how much you loved it and I love it myself! Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a great start to the new year!

I want to try Derma Rolling as well! Have you seen some of the reviews on YT on the airwrap? Most of what I have seen has been pretty negative — but it is a really neat tool.
I recently cleaned out a ton of my beauty stuff and threw away a ton of bath bombs that I forgot I had haha!! I'm interested in any facial roller, so the derma roller sounds really neat!

I haven't heard of the By Terry mascara- but I need to look it up. I treated myself to the Dyson hairdryer after YEARS of lusting over it- I got a killer deal on QVC! It's amaaaaazing, I'll have to read up on the styler. Happy New Year friend!
Happy 2019! I have that dermaroller and love it. I can actually tell a difference in my skin when I use it now vs. when I don’t!
I just washed my makeup brushes for the first time in … wayyyyy too long!! LOL! The struggle is REAL!
I have not yet tried any of these. Now I want to try them all. Happy New Year gorgeous!
I love dermarolling! And now I need that Dyson product!
SO many fab products! I've been dying to try the Dyson Airwrap!

The Dyson airwrap looks SO cool!! I'm with you— would love to try it, but waiting for a sale!
I saw you mention the Olay stick on your stories the other day and I'm so intrigued. You should really try the It Brush Bath (at Ulta). So good and your brushes dry almost instantly. XO
Derma rolling really is legit- I need to unpack my derma roller and get at it! Happy new year, babe!

Your holidays looked so lonely. i need to start derma rolling. That brush cleaner sounds intriguing!
I need to see that dyson in action! I’m the worst at doing my hair and it’s either straight or pony tail all the time. That make up brush cleaner looks awesome!
Oh, I'm loving that Dyson Airwrap too. It's definitely on my "want" list. Hope you had a great holiday. Happy New Year!

You have looked flawless during pregnancy and after having Sophia with no signs of sleepless nights on your skin even though I'm sure it wasn't easy. Wishing you the best for 2019 xo
