Phone Apps are a little like Amazon Purchases – always fun to see what other’s are enjoying and utilizing to perhaps make their lives a little easier and/or productive. A couple years ago I shared my favorite apps and then last year I shared my favorite photo editing apps. Now I’m sharing some newer apps that I’ve just discovered.
Baby Connect || We have been using this app since Sophia was born. It tracks her sleep, mood, eating & medical – just to name a few. Gary and I are the “admins” on the account and we have added my mom on to track everything since she’s with Sophia every day. It’s nice that we’re all on the same page and we can also add babysitter’s when the time comes for that. It’s really helpful when I have an errand to run and Gary is with Sophia, he’ll know that she’s due to eat based on when I last fed her. Perfect for those of us that like routine!
The WonderWeeks || Another one that we’ve had since Sophia was born. This tracks her “leaps” based on her age. When I feel like she’s a little more fussy than normal or isn’t sleeping as well, I check the app to see if she’s going through a leap. 9/10 times, it’s definitely the leap! I love that it explains everything with her development, activities that help her flourish and learn new things as well as when she’s going to be in a sunny period with her leap!
Daily Kiddo || For the photos & videos that we want to share with just family of Sophia, we use Daily Kiddo. We have complete control over who gets to see these because it’s by email invitation only. People can comment, like & save the photos to their own phones if they like. Rather than having to group text everyone, this is a great way for us to share with family.
Lightroom CC || I mentioned that I ordered the Monika Hibbs presents and had to download Lightroom for my phone. With this free photo app you can edit all your photos just as you would in the desktop version of Lightroom. Use it with presets or create your own presets for photos – this is a great way to get all your photos to look the same if you’re going for that aesthetic.
Receipt Pal || Basically using the receipts you get to your advantage and getting rewards for it. You snap photos of your receipts, earn points which translate to gift cards to retailers like Amazon & Starbucks. Obviously this is tracking people’s spending patterns, but in the grand scheme of things we’re being tracked with everything we do anyway, why not get a free coffee or $5 off to Amazon for it!
Measure || This is an already pre-downloaded app on your iPhone and is perfect for anyone that has ever hung anything up and not known if it was leveled. There are two features – measure & level. I mostly use the level and it could not be easier!
Kindle|| One of my most used apps! I would bring my iPad to work with me daily, but we use it as a baby monitor now, so I downloaded the Kindle app on my phone and use it every single day!
LiketoKnow.it || I follow a lot of bloggers on Instagram and often times see something on their post that I really want to know more about. Through the app, I search for them or in some cases I’m already following them in the app to see where they linked certain products or clothes from. I sometimes find myself scrolling through that app more than Instagram when I’m in a shopping mood!
Unfold || Great app if you have multiple photos that you want to share from the day or even if you want to tell a cohesive story within your Instagram Stories. It’s a free app that has premium templates, but you can certainly get by with all the included features.
What are some of your favorite apps of the moment?
Wonder weeks was definitely one of my favorite apps during Zoe’s first year! It is scary how accurate it is! Love kindle app!!! I need to check out Lightroom. I can’t remember if I have it or not. Clearly not using it if I do!
I totally agree. I love reading app posts just as much as Amazon purchases! Kindle is one of my favorite apps too and I will have to check out Receipt Pal. I'm not a huge fan of being tracked (haha!) but if it means a free coffee, I might consider it! Happy Monday!

I love Receipt Hog, Ebates, RetailMeNot, Target, Nest, Flight Aware, and of course, social media apps. My boys love Starfall ABC's, Bible for Kids, PBS Videos, and all of the My Town's.
I need to go download Lightroom! 🙂

Do you know how many apps I have on my phone based on your first post you did like this? This is just the best!!!
I always love posts like this and am obsessed with Unfold! Have you tried Story Luxe? It's kind of the same, but even better.

I always like seeing what others enjoy, too! Wonder Weeks is so informative!! Not sure if you've ever heard of Hoopla but it's awesome if you have a library account – you rent library books on your phone for free!!
Daily Kiddo is SUCH a good idea, wow! I am downloading receipt pal right now, thanks for the ideas!
I need to download Receipt Pal ASAP!!
Your apps aren't nearly as impressive as how you've ORGANIZED them into all those perfect little folders! You're an app master!! XOXO, R
I finally made the switch to Lightroom on my phone & loving it!

That receipt app sounds great! And I am going to have to start utilizing that measure app…and tell me dad about it, haha.
These are great recommendations! I loved the baby tracker and wonder week apps when my girls were little and will probably download one or both again for babe #3! I've also been curious about Lightroom! Thanks for sharing!
I've never actually used to measuring app, but I like that it's there!
Too funny, I was about to delete the measure app on my phone yesterday because I'm like what the heck does it even do why do I need it lol. Good to know!! I like lightroom, liketoknowit too! The app I use the most right now is Breathe from Stop Breathe & Think for meditation. I've been meaning to share all the wellness apps I'm using!

I have the Lightroom app but have never used it more than once. I should really spend some time figuring it out all the features. This is the first time i'm learning about ReceiptPal but sounds awesome and I'm all about earning "free" rewards 🙂
Super Habit is my jam right now. I'm trying to use it to keep me accountable on the things I need to do but don't want to do, lol. There's just something that feels good about checking it off the list.
