Happy Monday, friends! Even though I had to work most of last week, we still managed to pack in a lot of fun for Sophia’s first Fourth of July!
We celebrated the Fourth almost exactly the same way we did last year, with one little addition – Sophia! We had lobster rolls at Luke’s, strolled through the park and enjoyed a very low-key dinner with friends on their roof deck. I think next year we want to take the entire week off and head to the Vineyard for a summer getaway!
Friday night we went on a much needed date night to see Yesterday! We both loved it and honestly it was just a feel good movie! I’m also a huge Beatles fan so hearing the songs always puts a smile on my face! We both agree that reclining chairs are the only way to go to the movies now!
Our friends had us over on Saturday for a little indoor BBQ because it was so hot outside! Too hot for the babies as we like to say! Sophia and her friend were very busy keeping an eye on the neighbors and babbling to each other. Unfortunately they have no choice except to be besties!
Sunday we had photos taken for Sophia’s first birthday with Julie from Young at Heart Images. Sticking with the tradition of taking photos in the Public Garden & Charles Street! These are just a couple iPhone snaps so to say I’m excited to see the professional photos would be an understatement.
My dress comes in 16 different colorsand these Michael Kors wedges have been in my closet for years and I still get a ton of wear out of them!
It felt like the longest weekend so no complaints for a much needed afternoon latte & stroll with my little love! Hope you have a great start to the week!
Looks like Sophia enjoyed her first Fourth of July! Can't wait to see her 1st birthday pictures. It was the longest weekend ever and it was wonderful! Happy Monday, Biana!

Oh Biana what a great time. So sweet to have your lil firecracker love her first 4th. Glad you had a wonderful holiday beautiful lady!! xo
So glad you had a great weekend! I love the idea of taking offnext year. I can't wait to see her pics! I bet they are going to be amazing! We have that same fan for the baby and it's been a lifesaver!
Can't believe how big she's getting!! So glad Yesterday was good— we want to go see it too!
Y'all are the cutest in your red, white, and blue! Every time you post a picture of a lobster roll it makes me want one so bad. I've NEVER had one. That's going to be the first thing I do if I ever make it up your way! And I'm so glad to hear that you liked Yesterday!! My mom and aunt and cousin and I have been dying to go to a movie together and we've been considering that one, so I'll have to tell them that it was good. I love The Beatles, too, so I'm sure I would like it!
Cant wait to see the professional pictures!! She is so photogenic!!! XOXOX,R
Sounds like y'all had an amazing 4th of July weekend! The weather looks like it was so great–it was BEYOND HUMID in Charleston haha!

Sophia is precious and you look amazing! Sorry I haven't been around, once again, your blog and a ton of others stopped being delivered by Feedburner (for about 6 weeks), all of them magically started appearing this week! Good to see you!
I cant wait to see Sophia's pics. I loved the IG story pic of your hubby trying to get her to smile behind the camera. The STRUGGLE IS REAL 🙂
Those babies looking out the window on the couch – is there anything cuter than baby legs in little ruffly bottoms?
I can't open the link to your dress 🙁 so pretty! I can't wait to see her pics! What a great weekend in your city!
Looks like a great weekend with your sweet family! Can't wait to see the one-year pics! Is it crazy that I can't believe it's been that long but also S seems way smarter than a one-year old already??
Sounds like such a wonderful laid-back weekend..
