This week I got my nails done for the first time in 5 months! I was in need of just a bit of pampering and my go to has always been manicures. With the unofficial end of Summer upon us I wanted a transitional nail color before I went full on dark with my nails. Wanted to share a few of my favorite transitional nail colors.
If I’m doing my nails at home, I love fast drying polishes because I’m usually painting them right before bed! I have found that Sally Hansen and Essie Expressie are the best regular polishes that have the most staying power on my nails.
I also really like gel polishes that don’t require the UV light like OPI Infinite Shine and Essie Gel Couture. If I had a UV light at home, I really like all these colors from the Gellen Gel line!
Also thought I’d share a few Instagram posts with some #nailinspo!
Do you have a favorite nail color to transition for warm to cool weather?
Whenever I get my toes done, the pedicurist asks if I want a manicure. And when I say no, they give me a judgy “you really need one” look! HA! Oh well! XOXO, R
I was planning to do my nails today, and you’ve inspired me to bust out some of my neutral fall colors – they’re my favorite! OPI’s Tickle My France-Y always is a go-to for me.

These polish colors are gorgeous! I’ve been wanting to check out the Essee Expressie polish! Glad to hear its a good one!

We like the quick dry ones too and use the same. I love the Essie brand but haven’t tried the gel polish yet. Need to!!
I love the Essie packaging and colors, but their regular polish doesn’t last near as long on my nails as everything else. I really want to try the Essee Expressie polish though, I have heard so many people rave about it. Maybe since it is a different formula, it will last longer. I do like the Sally Hansen one, no time to wait around for that stuff to dry forever! LOVE all these colors.
