Happy Monday, friends! After a bit of rain on Saturday morning we were in for another stellar fall weekend here! From the pumpkin patch to city strolls, fall in New England and Boston especially is the best! I wont mention that I already purchased a new winter coat because I really don’t want to think about that. So instead, I’ll take you around town with me as seen through the camera roll!
We visited a new to us farm in North Andover which is about 35 minutes outside the city. Smolak Farms has hayrides, a pumpkin patch, a little animal farm & of course apple picking which we opted not to do since we already went earlier in the month.
The kids play area is great – fun animals to see & a few playground type toys in the shape of castles and boats! We arrived pretty soon after they opened and it was perfect! We were on one of the first hayrides which cost $7/pp & plenty of room for social distancing.
Caught Sophia mid-bite!
Their farm store had cider donuts & fresh apple cider – of course we had to indulge! We only ever slip our masks off when we are far from people as in there is no one near us at all! I’m so happy that Sophia has adapted well to wearing a mask – she has gone from only standing it for a few minutes to being able to keep it on the entire time we’re out!
This Who What Wear blouse is easily my most favorite purchase recently! Comes in black as well as cream!
We don’t make it to Beacon Hill as often as we did in the past on weekends, but after dropping Sophia off with my parents, Gary and I stopped to have a leisurely stroll down Charles Street. They really go all out decorating their front stoops & I couldn’t help but take a photo!
It’s so easy to enjoy the weather when the city is showing off so beautifully!
Boston is so pretty and this just screams fall with the leaves, pumpkins and festive donuts! I cannot believe how big she is getting!
Those front door decorations are so lovely!
Well this post has me thoroughly missing Boston! SO picturesque this time of year and these photos are all gorgeous! Girl you and me both on winter…I will never be ready!

We did fall things this weekend too (I need to do a post on it!) which of course included apple cider donuts 🙂
I just love living in New England this time of year. We walked all around today and I snapped tons of photos of leaves and lade reflections. We’ve been stopping at the apple orchard every weekend to stock up on apples and cider (with three teen boys a bushel doesn’t even make it a week!).
This was such a fun post!! I love seeing fall in other parts of the world, especially a place I have never been. It’s beautiful in your area! That picture of you on the porch, surrounded by pumpkins, is so pretty.
Sophia is getting so big! Sounds like the perfect fall weekend. Everything looks so beautiful! I love all those front porch stoops.
Beautiful touches of fall! The doughnut and cider look so delicious!

Oh, everything is just so lovely there. Those apple cider donuts looks AMAZING. We weren’t able to go to our usual place this year, so we didn’t have the chance to get any. I was so sad!
Your pictures are so pretty. What a fun and safe experience you all had. I bet the cider donuts were delicious 🙂
