Happy Wednesday, friends! Yesterday was my seven year blog anniversary! My mind is blown that I have stuck with this little corner of the internet for so long. I always said that as long as creating content continues to bring me joy, I’ll keep doing it and so far that’s still the case for me. I’m certainly not the biggest blogger or influencer out there, but I’m so incredibly grateful for every single reader and comment I’ve ever gotten. I honestly thought my family would be the only ones to ever read, but here were are, over a million page views and nearly 58,000 comments and I’m so grateful!
Being a blogger means you’re the CEO, CFO & CTO along with a ton of other behind the scenes things that only other bloggers know! You may have people that help you, but at the end of the day it’s really all about your vision! I’ve taught myself HTML, coding, creating collages & somewhere along the way the blog started to seep into my “career” and I’ve been able to create opportunities for myself in that respect as well!
I say this every year, but I’m so grateful to have this journal of all our travels and adventures and into the journey of motherhood and everything in between! I have met so many incredible bloggers that have become my friends – we’ve traveled together, gone to birthday’s and now in some cases have playdates with our kids. I know that even after blogging is no longer ” a thing” – these friends will still be in my life!
Just for fun, here’s my first ever post – poorly formatted, but I’ll give myself a littler grace because I was on blogger at the time!
