Was January the longest month or was it the longest month!? Made it through and one month closer to spring! I started these little reviews of the month last year, especially since so many pictures I take never make it to the blog or instagram, this is a great way to just look back. I also started to “favorite” photos so that at the end of the year everything in my 2021 Favorites album I can easily make into a book! Learned that hack from Willow Crowns.
Started the year at my parents house with a really nice lunch!
Pretty much my entire camera roll is photos of Sophia, as it should be! She’s still very much into putting her princess dresses on over all her clothes! Our nanny brought her kitten one of the days and it was so fun for Sophia!
Hopefully something we’ll do a bit more of are movie dates in the car. We pick up some lunch and just park to watch a show or a movie. It’s a way to get out of the house on colder / gloomy days, but still steer clear of people!
I tried a lot of new recipes this month, mostly thanks to our Home Chef deliveries, but also just tired of the same stuff with 10 months of mostly eating at home! Still really loving our Always Pan and I’ll do a review of it soon!
I had some extra time on my hands so I decided to do the waver – even posted a reel on Instagram if you haven’t seen it yet.
Outfit photos have been pretty scarce, mostly because it’s so cold so it feels like why even bother putting effort in, but once a week at least I do try!
But one of my favorite memories from January would have to be the watching Sophia fly a kite all on her own and being so proud!
Even though it was almost painfully cold to end the month, we did take Sophia sledding for a total of 15 minutes. I swear it took me longer to get her dressed than the time we spent out there, but well worth it because she had the best time!

Look at her go flying the kite! Serena was begging me yesterday to fly her kite because she felt a slight breeze, I felt so bad telling her it wasn’t windy enough. All that food looks amazing, and loving the waves in your hair. Cheers to a fabulous February <3

I think my fave pic of Sophia is her flying that kite! All your meals looks perfect for the cold weather.
Such a fun way to be able to look back and relive the month. I’m so excited about being closer to spring! Since February is the shortest month, I feel like if we can make it through then hopefully we’ll be in good shape. Hope your February is off to a good start!

YES, the things at the start of the month feel like they were FOREVER ago. I used to have a waver and went to look for it and couldn’t find it– though not sure it would still work from college, lol. Your hair turned out so good! I love that picture of Sophia with the kite. I sooo wish T did better in the car so we could just drive around to get out more– especially in the winter when I have zero motivation for going on walks.
