Happy Wednesday, friends. It’s hard to believe we are nearing the end of April – that seriously flew by! This post could be titled, things I bought for Sophia! Girl was getting “surprises” left and right! We also bought a few things for the new house, but I think that deserves it’s own post!
Cutlery Organizer || I ordered a new expandable cutlery organizer for the new house mostly because we actually don’t have one now. Gary put a built in to our drawer and the plan is to do that again, but it’s not something we’ll tackle right now. I like that it’s clear too!
3 Pack Toddler leggings || Someone in this house is growing like a weed and I picked up this great 3 pack of super comfy leggings. The material is light weight and stretchy, but great quality for the price.
Short Sleeve Dresses || Just getting ready for warmer weather and outfitting Sophia! These dresses are adorable, easy to throw on and come in a two pack. With how quickly they outgrow clothes and how harsh they are on them, I very rarely spend a ton of outfits unless it’s a special occasion.
Mary Jane Toddler Shoes || These are adorable, come in a ton of patterns and are a great deal. Sophia loves wearing them!
Toddler Waterproof Slip on’s || Last year I bought Sophia a pair of Native shoes and I will probably end up getting another pair because the quality is really great. These aren’t as great of quality and run a little small, so I suggest sizing up.
Colored Duct Tape || In trying to make the move as seamless as possible, I bought colored duct tape to use on all the furniture and boxes. We’ll add the tape color to each doorway and hopefully that will speed things up for the movers and for us having to facilitate where everything goes.
Iron Man Legos || I purchased this as a gift for my friend’s son and got a text that he was playing for nearly one hour uninterrupted with it. I think you can call that a win! These aren’t the tiny little legos, but meant for younger kids.
Unicorn Tea Party Set || Another gift for my friend’s daughter who loves unicorns. I thought this was adorable and with how often Sophia plays pretend tea party, I thought surely other toddler girls did the same!
Fun express treasure chest || We got this treasure chest full of “toys” for Sophia when she earns a reward for her responsibility chart. These are super random things and we’ve added stickers and a few more fun gifts for her to choose from. Think of it like going to the dentist and getting a toy – it’s the same premise and she chooses 2-3 little toys at the end of completing a good week.
Frame for TV || We finally ordered the Frame TV for the new house and the new models actually only come with a black frame, so we took it to Amazon and ordered the beige color for our frame. The best thing is that it’s magnetic so if it doesn’t work, we’ll pop it off, return and try another color frame.
Went really heavy on the kids stuff this month, but I’m sure next month it will be all about the new home purchases. Have you purchased any great organizational items for the house from Amazon – share, please!
Love the idea of the treasure chest for her reward! We are getting ready to make a responsibility chart for Zoe too after some issues keeping her playroom clean. Natives really are the best. I get a pair for Zoe every year. Love the frame you chose for your TV!
The shoes for Sophia are so cute and I just love the tea party sets! I have one in anticipation for a future granddaughter, LOL! I’ve always loved Tea sets.
I am that friend! Woot Woot! 🙂 Thanks again, doll!!! XOXO, R
The colored duct tape for moving makes a huge difference! We learned that after our second time moving lol. That treasure chest looks like fun. I bet C would love that!
Using colored duct tape to label your boxes is soooo smart!!
Oh my gosh, that tea set is SO cute! My nieces are a little old for that now but I feel like they would still love it! We have one of those cutlery organizers for our silverware. It is made out of bamboo or wood, I can’t remember. But it is great! Have a great day! XO
That is the cutest tea set. I buy a lot of the girls shoes on Amazon too. So many cute options.
Colored duct tape for the win. Love the dresses you got for Sophia.

Ohhhh so excited for your new TV! And the treasure chest of rewards is genius!
The treasure chest of rewards sounds SO AMAZING! Wish I thought of that when my kids were younger.
These are great items to get! I also have been looking at getting my son some water shoes. His is pretty old now and Old Navy has one but I also spotted another on Amazon. Just need to decide! I haven’t heard of that treasure chest toy box. I am trying to see what to gift my son when this school year ends for hanging in there! Will check this one out!
