Happy Wednesday, friends! I feel like a broken record over here, but how is it the last day of the month already! It seems like the days go by way too fast and during summer that makes me just a little sad! That’s why I love recapping the month’s in these posts because it’s a great way to see that the month was filled with a lot of memories – at home and out!
We really took advantage of the pool and beach in June! We’re so lucky to live close to my sister – aside from the obvious reasons of being close, she also has a pool that is the best oasis! I’m making good on my promise of checking off New England beaches as well.
Our backyard has also become an oasis for us and the pool has been fun to use. I will say the attention span for Sophia isn’t what I wish for how long filling it takes, but it’s something. The little ice cream kinetic sand kit is also a winner!

I’ve been trying to spend a lot of one on one time with Sophia so it’s been park dates, home goods runs & just a lot of playing with my girl. Big changes for her are coming including starting daycare (again) in July, hopefully transitioning to a big girl bed and of course adding a new family member to the mix!
There’s a great outdoor shopping area that we’ve been frequenting quite a bit. It’s nice to get there later in the morning and then have lunch outside and still manage to tire out a toddler!
We celebrated Gary with a super fun Father’s Day – complete with breakfast at a diner – his absolute favorite! Gary has also been grilling non-stop for the last week! No complaints from me since I get a break from cooking!
Gary and I also snuck in a couple of date night’s – one to a restaurant that is all the rage here on the North Shore! All the food is seriously delicious!
Overall we had a really nice month and are looking forward to a packed July as well! Mother Nature may or may not be on our side for the 4th, but a long weekend is still a long weekend!

Looks like a GREAT month! Love all the outdoor time you guys have gotten with the beaches and the pool! And the strawberry picking – so fun! Hopefully July will be just as great, even in the 4th’s weather doesn’t completely cooperate!

What an amazing month!! I love that you’re getting to do so much with S this summer, especially before the baby comes!
