Happy Wednesday, friends! I have been trying to find my aesthetic in this house. Sometimes I gravitate towards modern, other times I love the grandmillenial style but most of the time, it’s just finding pieces that are not only useful but also I like looking at. As much as I don’t like a lot of clutter out, sometimes it’s just needed so why not make it colorful and fun?!
Dish Towel || To me, the most fun way to add a little color into the kitchen is with dish towels! I like buying and changing them out quite frequently and this pink clementine one from Anthropologie is my favorite!
Dispenser Set || This is my latest kitchen purchase and I love the look of the amber glass bottles. They already come with the labels made and just look so chic to me. They also come in clear, but I thought it would get on my nerves to have different colored soaps in either bottle, so I went with the amber.
Mini Spreader || This is part of the Opal House collection and for only $3 I picked it up but haven’t used it yet. I think it’s really pretty to just have out for a little morning breakfast or on those few occasions I’m actually hosting someone at our house!
Opal House Frame || I have this frame with a picture of Sophia on our windowsill so when I wash dishes I have something sweet to look at! I personally love little frames in unexpected places.
Oil Dispenser || Something about a ceramic dispenser like this makes me feel like I’m at a beautiful home in Italy! So if I can transport myself to Italy just being in my kitchen, sign me up!
Canister Set || Now that we have a pantry, the canisters I once used to hold our sugar, flour, etc aren’t needed. If I had some open shelving I would be using these as both decor and functional pieces in the kitchen! You could always leave them out on the counter for a little color pop as well.
Utensil Holder || Speaking of canisters, I did use one of ours as a new utensil holder. It’s a little bit more elevated and pretty just sitting out on the counter.
Acrylic Napkin Holder || I keep this on our kitchen table for our pretty napkins – bought these from Opal House collection at Target. They aren’t used as often, but they offer a pretty pop on the white kitchen table. The napkins also match the spreader I mentioned above.
Berry Baskets || This is going to be my next kitchen purchase because! I love giving Sophia fresh fruit, but the need to wash and serve in a different bowl, although not cumbersome, is a little annoying. This is two birds with one very cute stone! Plus added decor!
Silicone Utensils || I have the grey set of these and while you do need to be careful putting them in the dishwasher since they have wood, they have held up really well over the last 6 months. I think next time I’m going to get a fun color like these mint ones or a lighter grey!

I have those little opal house spreaders too, they were so cute! It is hard deciding what “style” you are going for when you start designing around the house. I go back and forth between a few different ones as well.
Oh I love that little Opal House spreader set!! And the frame, too! I just added both to my Target wish list! I bet you are having too much fun decorating that new house!
I love the dish towel and berry baskets. I can tell that I love how you are decorating your kitchen. Have fun.

I need a new set of silicone utensils. And that is a pretty utensil holder. Love that spreader. It is almost too pretty not to use.
