Admittedly I am not one to go overboard for Valentine’s Day, but I love to add some fun jammies for the kids and maybe some crafts and garlands here and there.
- I have a little dash waffle maker and who wouldn’t love (no pun intended) a heart one too!
- A fun little welcome mat and doesn’t only have to stay out for Valentine’s Day either!
- My mantle is looking a little sad after taking down all the holiday decor – thinking of adding a cute garland that isn’t too in your face. This one from Etsy is pretty cute too!
- Sophia is super into baking and it is something that she actually really enjoys doing. She basically mixes and does everything on her own so I would love to get her some new cookie cutters.
- Jammies for the holiday are a must! Funny enough the pair from last year still fit Sophia so I need to get something for Mason!
- Definitely not going overboard with decor so a few candles, maybe adding some faux pink peonies because those I want year round and also this adorable little heart dish that you can use for candies and then as a ring dish later after Valentine’s Day!
- We have the entire little blue truck series and I love the Valentines book – too cute! I also think crafts from the Spritz line are perfect to do leading up to the day.
What type of things do you add for Valentines Day?

I love all the love! I got that heart waffle maker last year and it is just the cutest thing!
Noooo don’t tell me Dash has a heart waffle maker!!!! I don’t need another one, but I NEEEED this one. Lol. I love those tiny waffle makers so much that we have three of them already. Haha.
I love that peony vase! I’ve been looking for something just like that Thanks for sharing!!
I love the look of those candles! I love matching the scent and look of my candles to the season.
That door mat is perfection! I am trying so hard not to buy all these shaped waffle machines, each season they have them and I am like ahhhhh where am I going to keep these all! I have a regular square waffle maker and that is truly all I need. But dang! Zoe loves baking too. She has already asked when we are making Valentine cookies. Those peonies are perfection. I may need them. Hope you guys enjoy the season!
What a fun doormat! Candles and flowers are great ways to add some Valentine’s touches! Those peonies are so pretty!
