Happy Wednesday, friends! I can’t remember the last time I shared an empties post on here, but truth be told, I don’t like clutter and I actually forget to save them for these types of posts, but in January I had a few things that I wanted to share so I put them away for safe keeping and then immediately threw them out as soon as I was done with this post!
- NatureMade Vitamin D || I have already repurchased another bottle of Vitamin D! After having Mason, my chiropractor suggested that I take some Vitamin D to help with my bones and keeping them strong. Not only do I think that it helped with that, but it has also helped with the seasonal depression that happens to New Englanders in the winter!
- Ritual PostNatal Vitamin || Already repurchased! The postnatal specific vitamin helps moms through the postpartum phase (6 months) + as long as they are nursing. All of their vitamins are packed with traceable ingredients, vegan & no artificial flavors along with a slew of other things. It is a higher priced vitamin and you are set up on an auto-ship, but if you aren’t ready you can just push it out for when you want it. They have vitamins for whatever life phase you are in and I love that I can take them on an empty stomach too.
- Beautycounter Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel || What I noticed was that after 30 days of use, my skin did have a little more brightness to it. However, I wanted it to help diminish the appearance of sun spots and that it didn’t do. For $72, I wouldn’t say this was the best skincare product that I’ve used, but I like that it’s “clean” and did help with smoothing out my skin texture. I would probably repurchase once a year, but there are other serums and creams I like more.
- Monat BeBalanced Moisturizer || I have repurchased this and other moisturizers in the line so many times! I love how lightweight it is, non-greasy, vegan, cruelty free and uses non-toxic ingredients. Gives your skin all day hydration and gives your skin more radiance without over saturation. I use this day and night.
- Monat Wellness || I take the Balance daily supplements which is a pre & probiotic that helps with gut, immune and skin health. I also take the Immune Support which is just another daily vitamin for immune help which I feel like I need extra of this time of year.
- Hair Transformation Masque || I use a hair masque a couple times a month and I swear my hair always feels so smooth and healthy right after. This particular one is an intensive, ultra-rich reparative hair masque that fixes breakage, strengthens, softens and transforms the look of damaged, brittle, over-processed hair within minutes. Already repurchased because this one is perfect for my hair type.
Let me know if you like these types of posts and I will keep this series up monthly!
If you’re interested in any of the Monat products, please let me know! Happy to tell you more about it!
Vitamin D3 is supposed to work wonders for all kinds of things in your body so I’m not surprised that you love it. I get mine through my multi-vitamin, but I sometimes wonder if I should be adding a separate supplement on top of that!
After my TIA, my doctor yelled – YELLED – at me about my vitamin D levels. Apparently I have ZERO in my body & he was telling me about how it effects your heart too! AND I have since heard multiple things about how vitamin D causes more severe Covid reactions – which I can attest to as well. Needless to say, i’m going through bottles fast now too!
I need to start using a hair mask, my hair is getting so dry and brittle! I just started taking a multi vitamin with vitamin D in it.
I’m not familiar with Monat and need to check out that brand! The moisturizer sounds amazing!
Jill – Doused in Pink
Looking great product I may love it.
I never had to take vitamin D in pregnancy luckily – even though one of my boys was a winter baby – as we have so much sun here! But I know in the colder places where there’s less sunlight it’s such an important thing to have!
It’s good you were able to use up all of these products even if not everything is something you want to repurchase.
Hope that you are having a nice week 🙂 It’s been a big week here for the kids, their first week back at school after the summer holidays!
I have been taking a D supplement for several years. It is crazy how common a deficiency is in it. I really like Skinceuticals for C. It is $$$$$ though.
I love these posts as they show the products that you really love. I need a good hair mask too.
The moisturizer and hair mask sounds wonderful!
