Happy Monday, friends! Hope you are coming off a nice weekend. As I was packing for our trip and while we were there I couldn’t help but think of all the things that I was so happy to have! I wanted to share a little roundup of my personal must haves for a beach vacation with kids. These are all great if you plan on traveling somewhere warm / beachy this Spring or Summer!
First up are these beach toys from Amazon. It comes with a collapsible sand bucket and the mesh carrying case allows you to easily have the sand fall through and not drag it back to your rooms or in luggage. It’s compact and doesn’t take up much space. Really great because we didn’t have to purchase any toys while we were there.
Ordering the Piggyback Ride Along board for our stroller was the best purchase!! We have the Uppa Baby Vista and there is also an attachment for the Cruz. There was a lot of walking to be done between pools, the airport and even to dinner! This came in so handy and it attaches no problem. I could see this as an incredible thing to have for a Disney trip as well. Sophia is 3.5 so a little too big for the stroller, but still too little to not get tired walking!
An attachable fan for the stroller is something we bought for Sophia for the summer months and again perfect for a warm weather vacation! It’s USB powered and is so easy to maneuver and attach. Plus little fingers cannot get stuck in between and give your littles some reprieve from the heat!
This is such a great small first aid kit to pack with you – really for anything but especially a trip. Most used items were hands down the bandaids that I replenished before we left and I loved having the little scissors and travel ointments so I didn’t have to take the full packages with me.
This may be more of a hack rather than a must have for travel, but the roll on sunscreen by Supergoop makes sunscreen application so much easier with kids. I love that it’s SPF 50, dry oil and can be reapplied super quickly and easily. Plus, I use it for myself as well. I also brought a beauty blender that fits on your finger to apply more traditional sunscreen to the kids faces.

Beach toys are always a must! We have bits and pieces from old ones so we are overdue for one. Also, I am eyeing that fan. I love that it’s portable. My son and I get pretty hot easily and this looks like a great solution to stay cooler.

I love roll on sunscreen for my kids faces. I need to get that one for the summer. I wish I had that fan when the girls were little.
