Happy Monday, friends! It was another quick weekend here – they really seem to fly by when there are kids activities involved! Mother’s Day was yesterday and if you celebrate – I hope you had a somewhat relaxing day. I know it can be a tough day for many for a variety of reasons and I’m thinking of everyone that had a rough day. I wanted to share a few snaps from our day, but please note this is the highlight reel – there were meltdowns, tantrums and everything in between because kids really don’t care if it’s a special day or not. There were still far more great moments and that is what I choose to focus on.
All I wanted for the day was to go into the city, have lunch in the park and have Sophia & Mason enjoy the swan boats – something in my 13 years of living in Boston I don’t remember ever doing! The ducklings were dressed up for the occasion as well!
The tulips were in bloom and it was the perfect backdrop for a little picnic. I ordered ahead from Tatte Bakery so that it would be easy to pick up and head right to the Boston Common.
After some duck feeding, we went down Newbury street – stopped into Georgetown Cupcakes for a little treat. Then it was time for my long awaited treat! I finally decided on a Chanel purse. I wish I could say that there was a ton to choose from, but they were almost completely out of bags because of Mother’s Day, but luckily I spotted the purse that I was really excited about! I’ll share which one I got soon!
The weather somewhat cooperated with mid-50s but it was pretty chilly when the wind was blowing, the sunshine was deceiving! Cant get enough of my little heartbreaker! The running joke between me and Gary is that we run a Bed & Breakfast, so it was fitting that he put that on the card 🙂 Wishing you a wonderful week!
Looks like a wonderful day!! So crazy how y’all are dressed for the cooler weather!! It was a scorcher here!! Can’t wait to see THE BAG!! XOXO, R
You have such a beautiful family!
Happy belated Mother’s Day, Biana!
I can’t wait to see your purse. We had some meltdowns over here too on Mother’s Day, but overall it was a good one. Love the tulips. What a fun time with your kids and sharing the swans with them.
Kids really don’t care if it is a special day or not lol. Glad you were still able to make some special memories. Can’t wait to see which pretty you chose!!!
Oh what a fun day! I’m so glad y’all were able to get out and about for the day. I love all of the tulips!
Looks like you had a wonderful day! The pictures are fun.
