Happy Wednesday, friends! Perhaps this is just the season of life where reading is not at the forefront, which makes me a little sad because I love to read so much, but finding the time has been a little tricky. I also started a couple of books that I just couldn’t get into so didn’t finish. I am currently reading one book for a book club at work and another book just became available through the library – so hoping my next book review wont take another 4 months!
Every Vow You Break || What a wild read! I had NO idea this book would go where it went and there were points where my jaw was literally on the floor because it was so wild. If you’ve seen the movie Kiss the Girls with Ashley Judd, it gave me those kind of vibes. Abigail is on her dream honeymoon with her dream husband, when she is certain she sees a man from her past. There was a lot to unpack from her past life and her current life and honestly it was just crazy. I would say it’s a bit of a slow burn thriller but wont take you long to get into the book!
Greenwich Park || It usually takes me a little longer to get through audio books because I don’t have the set time to listen to them, but man I took every chance I had to listen to this one. Helen meets Rachel at a prenatal class. The only odd thing is that Rachel doesn’t seem to care much about the arrival of her baby – she smokes, she drinks and doesn’t talk much about who the father is. You really think the book is going to go one way, but the twists that it takes are wild! If you’re into a good suspense, this is it!
The Golden Couple || All I have to say is WOW! This book hooked me from the first chapter and it was so interesting to see how the authors tied everything and everyone together! Marissa and Matthew are the golden couple that seem to have it all, until something brings them to an unorthodox ex-therapist. Secrets from all sides come out and it was a wild ride. Definitely a must read!
I think I need a good light read next – lots of thrillers and suspense recently! Tell me your favorite beach read!
The Golden Couple sounds good! I’ll have to add that one to my wish list even though I rarely read thrillers/suspense. As for lighter reads, I recently read Just Last Night and I loved it. I also just started Love, Lists, and Fancy Ships and it’s really good so far! I think I’m going to like it a lot!
Every Vow You Break was WILD!
I just finished Must Love Books and it was lighter and cute!
I so want to read the last two. I read Every Vow You Break and loved it too. Thank you for the recommendations. The Golden Couple is on my list already but adding in Greenwich Park.
I really loved The Golden Couple. I wish the author would take the therapist and make a series with her! I found her so fascinating. I remember thinking Greenwich Park was alright, but I read it instead of listen and I felt like it moved a little slow at the beginning. I remember really just needing answers and flying through the second half though haha.
The Golden Couple sounds like a wonderful read.

I have been very curious about Greenwich Park and I might add it to my list now. I recently finished Notes on an Execution and it was SO GOOD. Right now I am reading Fake and it is pretty good so far.
