New Beauty Favorites

Happy Wednesday, friends! I am constantly trying new beauty products – between skincare, haircare and makeup I have a really great rotation of things! Also, if you’re not on TikTok you are missing out on some great finds these beauty influencers are recommending. Also, Bethenny Frankel, yes the Real Housewife, does a great job of comparing lots of high and low beauty products and has no qualms about calling out the higher end brands not worth the hype.

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter || This has been hyped up by so many beauty influencers and for good reason. This creates the best base for your makeup to go on smoothly and flawlessly. You can wear it on it’s own after your do your skincare routine or underneath your makeup. It’s been part of my routine for a little over 3 months now and I’m not looking back! There is a new dupe alert from ELF that I haven’t been able to track down yet, but I can’t wait to try it!

Tarte Flex Concealer || Hands down this is the best concealer that I have used in probably 5 years! The staying power is fantastic and it does not budge or crease under your eyes. It’s lightweight enough to not look cakey on the skin, but has enough pigmentation to cover the dark circles! Highly, highly recommend!

Tarte Multitasking Foundation with SPF || Even though I wear makeup everyday, I do like it to appear as if I’m not wearing much makeup. This foundation from Tarte is perfect for that look. It’s buildable and covers any imperfections you might have. Does not feel heavy on the skin and has great staying power. I actually feel like it’s more of a CC cream than true foundation, but because of the buildable coverage you can certainly get away without using a ton.

Laneige Glowy Balm || I purchased this during Prime Day and have not stop putting it on my lips since! If you like the sleep mask balm from the same brand then you will like this. It’s not quite as cakey as the sleep mask, but gives the same “look.” My lips have never been more hydrated and if you aren’t a fan of balms that have a taste, then you’re in luck because this is flavor free! Does have a little fragrance to it. Summer Friday’s just released their newest butter balm in poppy with a slight color to it which I’ll be trying ASAP!

Maybelline Color Sensational || I absolutely love the formula of this matte lipstick. I have another color, but “more magenta” is the prettiest bright pink for summer and for a bold lip!

Elta MD Sunscreen Moisturizer || Work smarter, not harder is my motto! I have been singing the praises of this double duty miracle worker for a little over a month and I wont stop because this a great multi-purpose product. There is a version that comes with a little bit of tint, but I don’t have that one yet. I think if you mix this with the flawless filter you will have the best dewey skin!

Hair Wax Stick || If you are into the “clean girl” slicked back hair for summer, then this is the product for you. Also really great for taming flyaways or pesky regrowth from postpartum hair loss! I can also see this as a miracle hair product for kids that are in dance and need slicked back buns and you wont have to pull their hair tight to achieve the look.

Hair Treatment Serum || All it takes is using one capsule of this serum for you to see the difference in your hair health and dryness. My ends had been pretty dry and within one use, my hair was softer and ends had more life to them. I am in need of a cut, but that’s another issue! These are capsules with oil – you do not take or ingest them!! They are only used on towel dried hair, so at most you’d use two a week depending on how often you wash your hair. Packed with Vitamin A, C, E and a slew of other things, this works!
