Happy Thursday, friends! I’m going to go out on a limb and say you’ll want to save this post for the holidays or your next pre-school kids’ birthday party because these are some of the best gifts that we have found for the 4-5 year age group. Best of all, these are all tech free gifts!
Foam Pogo Stick || Such a fun indoor and outdoor toy for the kids. It’s for ages 3 and up and comes in a ton of colors. For any adult that wants to try…it will support your weight, but I don’t advise on testing it out 😉
Indoor Climbing Set || So this might fall into the category of toddlers, but if you have a very active kid who loves gymnastics – this is perfect to practicing balancing and backward tumbles. Bonus, kids that are crawling and learning to walk also love this!
Adjustable Basketball Hoop || Perfect for boys and girls – this grows with kids from toddler age up to age 7/8 really! It adjusts to 6.2 feet and is great for practicing. Another toy we’ll be using both outside and during the winter in the play room!
Hula Hoop || The joy you see on your kids face when they are playing with a hula hoop is truly priceless. This is probably one of the most inexpensive gifts that gives endless amount of time playing and fun to be had!
Talking Microscope || I am all about introducing STEM to the kids as early as possible and this microscope is a perfect gift. The images are clear and the description, done by Bindi Irwin, is incredibly educational. Truth is, I’ve learned quite a few things from the slides!
Mix & Match Rubbing Plates || This takes me back to when I was a little girl and I would sit for hours just mixing and matching all the different rubbing plates together. These are animals and Sophia has loved and found it really funny to put different animals together!
Make Your Own Soap || Bath time is sometimes a struggle, but anytime we can introduce something new or fun to the routine, Sophia is all about it! Making your own soap to use during the bath time makes it that much better.
Kids Telescope || Whenever we go to my parents house, Sophia is enthralled with my dad’s telescope. She is really interested in learning about planets and what’s out there so this is the perfect gift. The projector is a really nice touch as well!
Do you have any go to gifts for preschool aged kids?
We have those Flybar pogo sticks for the kids and they loved them when they were younger!! It was always a good way for them to burn energy on rainy days when they couldn’t go outside.
We love our foam pogo sticks. The girls still use them all the time.
Love all these ideas! Zoe could use one of those pogo sticks to burn some of that energy. Chris wants to get a telescope for our house, maybe we should start with the kid one lol.
