Happy Tuesday, friends! I hope you enjoyed the long weekend and the unofficial end to summer! I am definitely looking forward to the slightly cooler temps and we have had a few crisp mornings, which makes me so happy! Something else making me happy, apparently ballet flats are back in style. To be honest, I had no idea they were ever out of style and with such a classic style shoe, I can’t imagine that they would be. I have a few go to pairs of ballet flats that I have worn into the ground, seriously the soles were coming off when I was done with them! Thought I would round up a few of my current favorites and one dream pair that I’m not sure is in the budget for this year, but maybe one day!
I’m going to let you in on a little pro tip of figuring out if the ballet flats will be comfortable. If you can pinch the back of the shoe together with your fingers, then they wont pinch your feet. I have had to “wear in” some of my favorite pair of flats and let me tell you, those blisters were not fun. I specifically remember wearing a new pair of flats on the second part of our honeymoon in San Francisco and we walked miles and by the time I realized that my flats were hurting me, the back of my feet were bleeding so badly that no amount bandages were going to help. Lesson learned and I always try the pinch test before committing to a pair of flats!
- FRAME le sunset two tone flats are so chic
- I feel like everyone had or has the Tory Burch flats – they are a pretty iconic pair
- The Rothy’s “point” flats are not only comfortable but washable too
- I love the square toe take on a ballet flat – these look classic
- Classic little bow with the Ralph Lauren logo on the back – perfect for fall
- Actually, I take that back and these Sam Edelman corduroy flats are pure autumnal perfection
- Sarah Flint has a lot of great flats, but my favorite is the Natalie that can elevate any outfit
- Mango is a brand that I have slowly started to get back into – they always have classic pieces at great price points, including the bow leather ballerina flats
- I probably get a pair of J.Crew flats once a year and this year I opted for the animal print version of the Anya Scrunchie
- Ending with the iconic Chanel Ballet Flats – these are dream worthy and quite the splurge, but I am trying to find them second hand because they will last for years!
Are you a fan of ballet flats? What do you normally wear in the fall with jeans?

I had no idea that ballet flats were ever out of style either. I wear my Rothy’s during the fall and winter more than any other shoe! Glad to hear they’re back since I was apparently out of style for a while there. Haha. You found so many cute ones!
Okayyyy, I’m so game to hear that ballet flats are back! I have so many that I have held onto because it really is such a classic shoe, but I just found myself reaching for other styles in recent years. Excited to dive back into my collection!

I had no idea they were ever out either. Love them!
The Rothy’s flats are SO great!!! Wish I could buy every color!!
Okay, remembering the pinch test because that’s my biggest struggle with flats! I’m off to check some of these out because I’ve wanted a new pair for those days I don’t want to wear heels to work.
I wear ballet flats daily and the Rothy’s are a favorite of mine!
