36 This Week!

Happy Monday, friends! We had a pretty nice weekend – I surprised Sophia and took her out of school early on Friday! She had her first ever manicure – she was speechless and then we just spent the afternoon together! We had a snow day on Saturday and Sunday ran some errands in the morning and it was a really nice time!

It’s my birthday week! Last year we celebrated in the Bahamas and this year will be close to home, which is perfectly fine with me! One of the things I have tried to do since I started working after college was take my birthday off – it’s just nice to have the day to do whatever I want. All about celebrating the little things or in this case, celebrating myself, ha! I was planning on getting a facial, but unfortunately didn’t plan well and they are all booked up! Hoping to do a little shopping, enjoy lunch at a new restaurant & celebrate with the kids! If you want to see vintage Biana, here’s a birthday post from turning 27!! I started the blog November of 2013 when I was still 26, so that’s my first birthday post!

This year more than ever, I’m craving exploration! I want to plan more getaways – with Gary solo and also with the kids! I really want to take Sophia on a summer trip before she starts Kindergarten and I want to go back to Waters Edge Resort in CT over the summer – it was the perfect resort escape! All that to say, I actually didn’t have much on a birthday wishlist! Honestly, as I get older, if there is something that I really want, I just get it for myself. There’s also the fact that I don’t really want much and everything I do want / need can’t be bought – number one on that list is just great health and happiness for myself and my family!

But…if I was to make a birthday wishlist, here’s some things on it!

I actually already bought the cute ballet flats from H&M! The sizes were going fast, so I needed to scoop them up!
