Happy Monday, friends! I have slowly been starting to purchase things for the kids Easter baskets. It feels like these holidays keep sneaking up on me, so if you’re trying to get a little head start like me, here are some ideas to help! I’ll probably add in a little candy treat to Sophia’s basket as well, but thankfully Mason hasn’t really expressed any interest in sweets yet – so I’m holding on to that for as long as possible!
- I picked up two pairs of sunglasses for the kids – both were from the Dollar spot at Target, but I love these pairs from Amazon.
- I don’t know how it happened but butterfly clips are back and I got some for Sophia’s basket!
- You can never go wrong with a little chalk for spring – I don’t think we ever had cute shapes when I was growing up.
- Something really cute for younger toddlers is this octopus ring toss for the bath.
- Sometimes I joke that any arts and crafts I get for Sophia are as much for me as they are for her and I can’t wait to play with some gel crayons!
- I got both kids some new swimsuits even though they wont get to wear them for a few more months – we are ushering in the warmer season. I wish this two piece set for Sophia came in my size!
- We have all the Little Blue Truck books and Springtime is one of the cutest! I did get each of the kids a new book for their basket.
- Love this adorable little reversible bucket hat from H&M and it’s only $10!
- Collapsible water bottles are a game changer, especially if you plan on doing a lot of traveling this spring and summer with the kids!
- Another fun activity for their baskets – reusable sticker books. We have a few and they are perfect for rainy days or travel! This is a set of 4 for about $16!
What do you like to add to Easter Baskets? I never want to go overboard, but still want to give them something fun to wake up to! Obviously, we will also do an egg hunt and really hoping for nice weather so we can hide some in the yard this year!

I’m so sad that we don’t have something similar to Easter baskets. I love all the spring goodies!!! XOXO, R
I can’t believe today’s the first day of spring, and Easter’s coming up! I remembered being a kid and loved getting Easter baskets with goodies. 🙂
I don’t think I have seen gel crayons before, I will have to check those out! I love doing swimsuits, sunglasses, sandals and outdoor toys for Easter.
Little Blue Truck was always one of our kids’ favorites! I love that they are making more of them!
I still do baskets for the kids. Love this.
