Last year my mother-in-law surprised me with this acrylic makeup organizer. It was on my wishlist for a long time and I really needed to have more organization on my dresser – this one totally fit the bill! It has five drawers and does a good job of keeping everything in one place.
The top which isn’t really “storage” but is the only place that I can easily see my palettes and my larger daily go-to products. I’ll also be sharing my thoughts on the new Garnier night cream soon – spoiler – LOVE IT!
The first two drawers are palettes that I don’t use that often. I also have a small brow kit and one of the original Urban Decay palettes…literally not being made anymore! The third drawer has two of my blushes, my MAC studio fix powder and the array of bronzers I use. I like to switch it up daily and they really are the best! I have quite the lipstick collection, but this doesn’t even scratch the surface, these are just glosses and lipsticks that I don’t wear regularly. The ones I rotate daily are in my purse and also in another drawer just asking to be taken out!
The last drawer is my catchall and is actually a little bigger so it can hold another larger blush. I have a few sample serums and some falsies that I still haven’t used, still waiting for a special occasion!
Since my brush collection just increased ten-fold I decided to split out my eye makeup and the brushes. Both holders are from the Container Store. I think I still need to get rid of a few mascaras and liners that I don’t wear and have them stored in my miscellaneous drawer.
So where do I go from here? I need to increase my storage because there is a lot in drawers that I never use because I don’t see it! I have my eye on this 4 tiered organizer and love that top actually lifts up and that the drawers are sectioned off. Gary would probably say, why don’t you just stop buying makeup, but we all know that won’t happen!

Today also happens to be my sweet mom’s birthday!! There really are no words to wish her all best in the world, but I’ll still try!! She is the light of our family, has a heart of gold and also happens to be my best friend…she share’s her best friend duty with my sister as well! I so wish I could be there to celebrate, but I have no doubt she’ll have a wonderful day being pampered by my dad!! Happy happy birthday mama – love you infinity!

I love the storage container! I have absolutely no organization to my makeup! I keep the stuff I use everyday in a makeup bag and the rest in a big sectioned Mary Kay bag. We have no space in our master bathroom! One day I would love a built in vanity to have space for something like this! And happy birthday to your mama!

I love the clear acrylic drawers. I keep my wear-everyday makeup in a nice, roomy Vera Bradley bag and my daily brushes and pencils in a cup/jar thing over my vanity. Then I keep two sets of 3 of those clear drawers from the Container Store with extra blushes, palettes, pencils/crayons, eyeshadows, lip glosses/stains, etc. I keep my lipsticks in one of those stand-up individual holders — I don't know if that makes sense haha. My system has changed a lot over the years but I finally nailed this one down and it works great for me!

I love that we have the same acrylic drawers, but like you I seem to not use several products as much because I don't see them. It's such a pretty set, and it's great on organizing all our makeup but is it bad that I need something bigger? 😛

I'm loving my two and three drawer units, and then you know I have everything else stashed in my vanity. Sometimes it just takes a while to get everything the way that you want – that larger drawer system definitely looks fabulous, though!

Absolutely love this! My makeup is pretty well organized, but I think it might be time to simplify and get rid of some of it (did you hear those screaming cries? That's me. haha). I have like, an acrylic basket thing. I love it because it doesn't hold a ton, which means I can't fill it up like crazy, and also because I can see everything. If I had drawers, I would fill them up a bunch and never see anything and thus never use it, lol.

I need a better system! As of now, everything gets dumped into a drawer and then I don't have to look at it. Love the system that you've put together, very clean!

What is your favorite bronzers? I use Too Faced Chocolate right now but I thought about getting the Nars one too and switching it up.
I've been planning on sharing a post soon about how I organize my stuff! I use this for my makeup.
The lipstick holder is removable so I set that out separately to make room for more makeup, although I do need a larger one like this to hold more.
I put all my lip liners and glosses in a washed out old nest candle, and my makeup brushes in another larger one. I feel like if I used a system with drawers I wouldn't be able to find things as easily, I like all my stuff laid right out in front of me. You def. have way more makeup than me though, I'll be interested to see what solutions you come up with!

I love the way these look but acrylic drives me nuts unless it is spotless. I keep all of my stuff in my daily stuff in one bag from Thirty-One that I love and just pull it out everyday. All of my less used stuff is in my linen closet in various bags/boxes. Random everyday stuff in my little vanity drawer. I am fairly organized but yours looks nicer!

I've had my eye on Muji organizers for several months now! It looks like a great way to store your makeup. The price of the Muji one seems a lot more reasonable that the last one but I do love separators in the lower drawers.
I have that same Muji container and I love mine! It's the perfect way to store makeup!

I love those acrylic organizers, they are so great!! I have an organizer that I bought years ago that sits on top of our bathroom sink for all of my makeup. It has drawers and also slots to put brushes and mascaras, it has served me well over the years.

I never used to like the look of acrylic containers but I broke down and bought one last summer – and I'm totally in love with it! It stores everything really nicely and, go figure, I actually like being able to see what's in the all the drawers. I have a similar setup to what you have, although I need to go through it because there is at least one drawer that I never even touch so obviously I must not need whatever is in there too badly!
I love these clear drawer systems! I just have a drawer that I throw all my stuff into and then I have that bag that I posted not too long ago where I keep my daily used items. In other words, I'm not very organized! 🙂
Arranging separate storage for makeup kit is very simple. In market place it is available in various shapes.

I love lipsticks/lipglosses, too… those and mascara are my weaknesses! I'd like to get something like this… right now I use one of those Rubbermaid storage things with drawers and it works, but it's definitely not as pretty!
