Happy Monday lovelies!! You know when you have a weekend that’s pretty fantastic, but you can’t quite pinpoint what made it so amazing?! A weekend where you get all your to-do’s done, manage to make it to a gym class & try out new recipes is a win in my book! It’s just the little moments that make it memorable!!
If you notice the picture clarity is a bit better around these parts that’s because I’m finally out of the stone age and have upgraded from the 4s to the iPhone 6!!

I’m not an avid documentary watcher, but every once in a while I’ll see a title that piques my interest. Friday night we watched Fed Up – a film that sheds light on the food industry and just how intertwined with the government it really is. While I’m always conscious of what I eat, now thanks to this movie – I’ll be reading the labels a little more closely!
So I might be a little late to the party on this one, but in my defense a few months back we tried to get into the show and the first two episodes were so brutal, literally! This weekend we decided to give it another chance and are officially hooked on Breaking Bad!! I see a lot of binge watching sessions in our future!!

Saturday, Gary and I went to The Vault which is home to the New England Gator Club! Even though the Gators lost, it wasn’t necessarily a blow-out like everyone thought it would be. It was a really fun time and always great to meet some fellow gators!

I have been craving chicken salad for the longest time and Sunday found this recipe using greek yogurt, avocado & onions! Stuffed in a little pita and it made for the perfect lunch!
I’ll be sharing the Shrimp Saganaki recipe from the Newlywed Cookbook this week and let’s just say Gary and I both agreed that we hadn’t had anything that good in a long time!!

Our little bar cart area is coming together little by little. I finally purchased the frames to showcase the prints from my friend Marissa’s Etsy shop Go Chic Yourself. We also bought a few bar cart glasses from West Elm.

it's so hard to eat healthy/clean with the government's grubby hands all up in the farming industry etc. i don't eat anything that comes out of a box, bag or can but damn, even when you try to eat fresh produce, you never know if it's been modified or whatnot. it's why my only option – even though i HATE the price – is organic or grow my own shizz. i wish i could grow my own livestock too!

I have yet to watch Breaking Bad yet, I need to jump on that bandwagon for sure. You'll love that chicken salad, I make it like that almost every week for lunch and bring guacamole with me to work to spread on the wrap since avacado goes bad so fast. Hope you have a great week!
We watched a few episodes of breaking bad and quit and I dont know why, we have been meaning to binge it since but haven't gotten around to it. I am with you, I dont watch a ton of those documentaries but it is really for fear that I might starve to death because in the back of my mind I know the whole system is corrupt and I guess I try to forget about it. Haha!
I love your bar cart! And I am so jelly of your iPhone 6! I want it SOOOOOO bad! I was going to go see if our store had any this weekend but didn't get around to it. My upgrade is up in December and I dont know if I can wait that long. Have you had any issues with it? I know sometimes when the new phones come out there are some bugs that need to be worked out.

I'm so jealous of your iPhone 6! I just upgraded to the 5… grrr!! And so glad you are getting into Breaking Bad! It was a little dark in the beginning and I remember after the first few episodes feeling not so into it, then it gets really good! You will not want to stop watching it! You get so involved in the characters' lives! That show got us through last winter lol!

Oh i love all the gold phones popping up everywhere. I have not watched Breaking Bad either. The first episode I tried to watch was some guy getting brutally murdered and I just couldn't. I would like to see it from the beginning though! Looks like a fun weekend and boo Bama… yuck.

I was in Tuscaloosa for the Alabama/Florida game and I must say they did put up a good fight! I was expecting a good game based on how Florida played against Kentucky the weekend before and they did not disappoint!

I love the bar cart! I am going to have to see Fed Up. I have learned quite a few things that are still on the shelves due to politics and corrupt crap so I am extremely glad to hear about this movie.
I had such a love/hate relationship with breaking bad- it was so well done and the acting is so good, but it was so depressing I could only handle like one episode at a time and my husband would binge watch like 5 a night! haha. I love the prints above your bar cart– everything looks so cute so far! And that's such a great picture of you & Gary at the bar! I'm so behind on like 4 photobooks and I was just wondering why I don't print pictures and just put them in an album! I love making photobooks online but they take SO long; hence why I haven't finished any of them! haha

We've gone to the Gator game viewings now and again but when we went to The Vault last year I was surprised by how few TVs/seats there were compared to when it was at Stadium. Will have to give it another shot.
