Happy Monday, friends! I took the last week off from the blog to move, unpack as best as we could and try to settle into our new home. You probably saw snippets on Instagram and it does feel like we’ve managed to get so much done in just a week, but that is truly because it takes an army to help and we have had so much of it! I couldn’t really do any of the heavy lifting, but I’ve been organizing up a storm and the Amazon delivery person is a constant at our house!! Anyway, now that we have a deck & backyard, we can finally enjoy all the outdoor toys we’ve purchased for Sophia. I wanted to share a few here that will be on heavy rotation this summer (some already are, since we’ve had a heatwave) and a few of the cute bathing suits I picked up for her.
The Little Tikes Magic Flower table is adorable. I built it the second day we were in the house and Sophia has played with it non-stop! It comes with a ton of little accessories and best of all it was extremely easy to put together.
Last year we had a small round little inflatable pool and it worked nicely for the little outdoor space we had, but Gary upgraded the pool situation to something we could all fit into, if we want. I think the dolphins on the side are so cute and the tail has a little spout so it shoots water out.
Our play kitchen sink was the MVP of last year and is already proving to be a great source of play this year. One thing to note is that we had to return a few of these over the course of the year because the battery in the faucet just gives out, but this one has lasted the longest.
Give me all the chalk! Making a mess that’s easy to clean up – yes please! This Melissa & Doug Sweet Shop Chalk set was a present for Sophia’s birthday last year that we managed to keep under wraps until this week. It comes with stencils, game ideas and you add water to the dust sprinkle stamper to make chalk paint.
Bubble machines, bubble wands, bubble anything and Sophia is a happy camper! Is it not the cutest thing seeing them chase bubbles around and being so excited when the pop one!
I’m truly obsessed with all the toddler girl bathing suits at Target. I picked up a few for Sophia and she’s already enjoying wearing them!

I just bought a blow up octopus sprinkler thing for a friends kids & they already love it – all the things that can cool off the kiddos in summer!

That pool is awesome! I love water tables, Zoe has had one since she turned 2 and we have gotten so much use out of it! She still plays with it now and I can see her enjoying for a few more years. Chalk is one of my favoite things to do outside. I highly suggest a sprinkler for days you don’t feel like getting the pool out and blowing it up. It keeps them content and feels like a water day without as much of a commitment to set up…and it waters the grass 🙂
I wish I would have had that sink set for my girls when they were younger. They would have loved that. So many cute bathing suits for little ones.
That pool looks fun, and these bathing suits are all cute!
