Amazon Purchases | April Edition

Happy Monday and happy May, friends! How is it already the fifth month of the year?! It’s almost the unofficial start of summer and I for one cannot wait for the warm weather because New England has been pretty dreary the last few weeks! I am headed to Florida soon and will be taking in all the warmth and sunshine! Let’s get into some Amazon purchases from April – there were a lot and a lot of really great ones I’m happy about!

• Cosmetics Bag || I definitely didn’t need another travel cosmetics case, but was intrigued by this one that opens up flat and is supposedly very easy to travel with. I’ll be putting it to the test next week. It does look pretty roomy and will fit everything I need to take, but we will see how it does with skincare products mixed with beauty products.
• Extra Fine Point Pens || I had a self imposed no pen buying ban on myself, but couldn’t resist these. Love how they write and they don’t bleed through the paper. Also come in assorted color ink.
• Lavender Wreath || We needed a new wreath for the front door and love that this works for both spring and summer time.
• Ear thermometer covers || Not as fun of a purchase, but we needed more covers for the thermometer.
• Little boy shoes || Got Mason some new little kicks and they are so soft on the top, but sturdy on the soles.
• Sleep sacks || We are in the final stages of sleep sacks with Mason, so I ordered the 18-24 month ones. This pack of three is so nice and soft. Lord help me for the day he realizes he can unzip himself!
• Return to Pretty || Not only would this make the prettiest coffee table book. but the beautiful inspiration it comes with has me wanting to redesign my entire home! Ahhh…now if only I had endless amounts of money!
• Frownies forehead patches || I am needed a botox touch-up which I have not had done since my first and only session in March of 2020! I ordered these on a whim after seeing so many ads for them. I’ve only used them a couple of times, and it’s not terrible to sleep in, but I need more practice with the application process.
• Mama Clear pouch || Got this on a whim to toss into my larger totes when I’m mostly carrying stuff for the kids. I thought it would help to have all my stuff in just one place. I’ll use it during travel for some odds and ends too! This would make a great Mother’s Day gift and put a bunch of her favorite things inside!
• Fascinator headband || I have a Kentucky Derby party for work during my conference and decided to try and be festive, but not go overboard. I compromised with a fascinator headband to match my dress.
• Daily pill organizer || I’ve been really bad about taking my vitamins daily since my other organizer broke. Decided to try a different layout and see if that helps.
• Cordless water flosser || After going to the dentist and realizing that not only do I have another cavity but will need a filling fixed – I decided to try a cordless water flosser. I have one that is bulky so I never use it.
• Butter glow bronzer || This used to be my favorite bronzer a few years ago and then I got into liquid bonzers and sort of forgot about it. Then I was perusing Amazon and say they came out with a liquid version – quickly added to cart and will report back on how I like it! It does smell heavenly though!
